Default A question about making videos

Hello fellow Warriors. I am ready to start making some video tutorials and have seen videos were you are watching the person perform the tasks on they're computer. I believe it's called screen capture, but I'm not sure. What is a good video maker with this feature and are there any out there for free? I doubt there is, but I thought I would ask.

I use Camtasia for that purchase as it's pretty good. I'm sure more warriors will chime in with what they are using, I think a low cost one is cam studio?

My vote goes to Camtasia too! Its simple to use yet POWERFUL.

Camstudio.org is free but kind of a pain to get nice quality out of.

I use techsmith's camtasia 6 or whatever the latest is, but it's not exactly cheap.

And if you're wondering I don't like Camtasia for live video production. It's pretty much awesome for screencasts though.

Its free and an excellent screen capture tool if you are on a budget.

If you have a Mac try iShowU, its what I use and I love it.
