Starting Own Product.

Hello fellow warriors !

Before going any deeper in my question I want to say BIG thank you for this supportive community of warriors. I have followed IM niche for a while now, have bought even few products but have no success so far. But I am willing to give it some time, as some of you have mentioned it earlier to other newbies on this forum here.

I do understand the basics of affiliate marketing, getting your own list and etc. But I am really curios about how it works when I have a product of mine to promote, and where I could gain some more information about that ? Like adding affiliates to help me, what kind of sales funnel could I use. If there is any possible for my niche.

The product i am willing to promote is Financial Help, for Australians to get their tax back. And it is not usual product you could promote on sales page. At the moment I have been provided with a really poor website from the owner, and only thing good about it is the domain name which can become handy gaining traffic from SEO. Anyway, could someone tell me please where do I start and how it would be better to promote this product ?

Thanks for support in advance.

Like Claire said your post is very confusing. Are you planning on promoting your own product or working as an affiliate and promoting someone else's product?

If you are the product owner obviously fixing the sales page is easy. Just have someone do it for you if you cannot create a good looking sales page with great copy.

If you are the affiliate for the product and you think the sales pages is not good, then why promote the product? If you must promote that product then you might consider creating a landing page that presales the product or building a list that you promote the product to after you have built up a good relationship with the subscribers.

      • Hi

Yeah it certainly looks like you are doing an affiliate promo.

If they have a sales page or squeeze page check first to see if they will allow you to promote it in your own words as in Australia financial based products including Tax refunds need to adhere to a fairly strong set of rules.

Once you have done that and if it is ok to create your own then grab someone whop writes copy for a living as that will not only get you the best result in most cases but most likely the best conversion.

yeah I agree. The OP is a bit confusing.

But traffic is easy when you have a compelling offer.

So many ways to drive traffic we could go on for days.

    1. really sharpen the offer so it is as specific as possible.

    2. get partners to promote it. Offer a commission. Find related popular blogs, contact the owner, show him your product, offer to give him a portion of sales if he tells his subscribers about it

If he says no. offer him content. Say you will write a post for his website as long as you can have a by line with a link. Then you can keep 100% of the profits.

    Hope that helps
