Warriors, how do you put optin forms into your blog?

Hi, warriors,

I am investigating what's the most convenient way to put an optin form in to my blog page.

It should work like a squeeze page when user visit the blog for the 1st time. And it pops up when user exit. Also, the optin forms should appear at the side bar and at the end of every post.

R there any pluggins that work close to this way? Please share.

Thanks
David

Hmm this was also my problem.. I got around it by using my autoresponder's form generator.

I think there may be a script somewhere.

      Thanks for this valuable info.

I too am going nuts trying to put an Opt In form on my blog.

I have checked out the site you mentioned.

      Just a question here...

Can this form be put to stay constant?

i.e. No matter if I continue to add blog posts...

I want the form to stay in one place in the center of my blog...

Right on top of the main page of my blog.

      Is that possible?

      Please let me know.

      Thank you.

      Regards.

      Hi Veena,

I am not too sure about the placement at the top of the page, but if you take a look at one of the sites I am currently working on, http://www.sites4sale.aceslegacy.com you can see that the optin form (not finished designing it yet) is constantly in the same place on the blog.

There are quite a few options for placement, including the ability to put it in the sidebar.

The best advice I can give you is to download it (its free) upload it to your blog, and try it out. You can always deactivate it if it is not what you are looking for.

      Hope this helps!

You can use a Widget in the sidebar. In Wordpress you can add a "text" widget and put your script there.

Use the "Title" or "Heading" part of the widget for your "Subscribe Now" text.

You could also open the code and hard code directly into your sidebar but it doe not sound like you are experienced enough right now for that.
