How long did it take you guy's to make money.

Hi,

I'm relatively new to IM. I've been learning and trying to apply knowledge for a little over 2 months now. I haven't made any money yet . What I really wanted to know is can you really make money with IM if your not buying ppc, and all you do is put together niche blogs?

Once I picked my niche, mapped out what I was going to do to monetize that, it took me 2 months to start earning money. I had earned some money prior to that, but only sporadically via various affiliate programs.

My advice is to not put together blog(s), but pick one niche blog and work on that all the way to profit before starting another one.

I make money every single day as an Internet Marketer ... so as far as I am concerned it is the best business model in the world.

It did take me a while and lots of trial and error before it began to come together for me. My encouragement to you would be to spend time in this forum every day reading and networking.

People here are really helpful and will give you invaluable information and support

I have another question too, I have a blog that gets a couple of visits a day, and I have some that get some once in a while. What's a good indicator that something just won't succeed and I should move on?

Big question really ... TRAFFIC is so important. QUALIFIED TRAFFIC is even more important.

You need to master how to get traffic to your sites. There are lots of discussions up in here about article marketing and so on.

Yes - traffic is a big help.

However, not just any traffic - targeted traffic.

Also, you need a niche that pays or a product that sells.

Get those 3 things right and you should make some cash.

As soon as I set up my website and had my product, I was making money right away. However, if you are new and want to learn the ropes - I would recommend the book "Desperate Buyers Only" (Google it). It talks about how to find desperate people to sell to, make sales pages, and it gives several examples. This way, your target market is more willing to buy - even if you mess a couple things up. However, over time you will perfect it and your sales will soar in no time.

This is where I started to make some "play money" so I could get into more lucrative IM ventures. Hope this helps.

It took me about a year to start making a couple a hundred a month. But once you get your first niche blog/site setup, you can probably start making some money within the first month if you choose your niche wisely. The better you choose your niche, the faster you will make money. This is why when people first start out it is advised to make a few niche blogs so you can see which ones perform and which ones don't.
