Membership Sites In Internet Marketing Niche Should Do This Or Not??

I have seen several product launches allows buyers to put their products in some membership sites..

What I see become a problem is when vendors are running JV contest within their launch, and their products already at some membership sites even when the contest hasn't finished yet..

In my opinion, it makes affiliates become harder to promote their launch..
But in the other hand, I do really understand that membership sites want to give the most updated products to their members..

Maybe we can give some additional condition, not to put the products before the contest finished? Or membership sites should add it after the contest ends?

What I love is, sometimes membership sites downgraded the license of each products. For example: Buying straight from vendors you'll have a chance to get PLR rights, but inside membership sites you only have MRR or personal use license.

So people are more tempted to buy straight from affiliate marketers' promotions

What is your thought about this kind of situation?

The whole idea of membership sites is residual income where you get payed over and over for your quality of content supplied anyway that`s my take on it.

Are you talking about private label products? Here are two tempiral solutions:

      1) Make the launch of the product was only 1-2 days to limit the probability of this happening.
2)If so, perhaps you add a terms in the license that the product cant be added to membership sites.

IMO one of the biggest things with membership sites is you need to make sure you are constantly coming up with new content to add continued value or you will lose your member base fairly quickly. If you can do this then why not give it a go.

    Hi,

You've gotta get creative when it comes to membership programs in the
    I.m. niche.

Can you split up what you've already created within your business.

    1. The content you create on a weekly basis.

    2. Those hundreds of emails you've stacked up over the past months in your
    email A.R.

    3. The videos you've created and uploaded to YouTube.

Can all of this and anything else you've created and done in your business in
the past be put to greater use?

In the form of some kind of membership that PAYS YOU every single month?

And if you're going to use plr why not READ out what is in those materials
in your own words by recording your voice.

That way you can create content on demand and FAST too.

How much content could you create over 30, 60, 90 days?

Enough to get a ton of repeat customers who stay at your memberships
for up to 2, 3, 4, 5 months and longer.

    Give it a go.

    It's worked for me.

      Agree...

It comes down toy our preferred model.

To be honest, an ongoing model is difficult to maintain.

I have done well with memberships outside of IM.

Namely because of retention rates. Even the best gurus suffer from retention set backs unless you have a serious way to funnel new prospects your way.

And it also comes down to what you are offering...

If it is an MMO program then you need some serious street cred.
      '
If you are offering training like Facebook for example, then a different story.

What I have found is that other markets of irrational people such as pet owners make better membership sites because they have the emotions and money to spend.

IM on the other hand usually attracts newbs, who are starting out ona shoestring, so unless they see results will cancel asap. And most won't have the funds to carry on.

That's why you see so many jumping from WSO to WSO.

      Just my thoughts...

I haven't participated in any JV launches yet, but if I was invited to add my products to a membership site that was being launched, I would provide some exclusive offer such as MRR as opposed to the private label rights that I typically offer.

Is this really a big problem? Not in my book.

Most membership sites are highly targeted to a particular audience and the contents of that site are going to be very focused on the topic at hand.

Now, what are the chances that the niche of the membership site is going to match the niche of your affiliate product? One in a million? Who knows.

My point is that this problem rarely happens, probably more in the IM market than elsewhere, and it is just a coincidence when it does. The simple solution is for you, the affiliate, to go promote something else if you don't care for the licensing terms. That's all there is to it if you're worried or paranoid.

Your content and quality is everything. You have to have something people are willing to PAY for. Start there and everything else (including money) will follow. Content. Content. Content. Not other people's stuff. Your content.
