Hey folks so just about to put out my very first WSO and cant help but think what if it bombs, what if it makes no sales.

I guess its a learning experience in itself but I am sure there are others like this that put of doing something for fear of failure.

I know I probably havent all the steps in place to make this launch a success which is another reason for the set back.

Arghhh frustration
#failure #fear

Make sure you collect emails. Get a buyers' list going.

Just start and launch it! You don't have to be perfect. Next time it'll be better

Be proud of yourself for creating your first WSO. (That's a success in itself.)

"Failing" is all part of the process. (Like you said, it's a learning experience.)

There are some people who don't experience any "failure" however their accomplishments aren't as significant (IMO.)

Anyway, more than likely your WSO will be something of a success.

Well first and foremost, if you haven't prepared a JV launch for this, then don't expect anything major. You'll just want to keep bumping the thread and get as much exposure as you can.

You could apply for affiliates to join (if you want affiliates), or even setup some Facebook PPC campaigns and use a congruent ad to draw in affiliate marketers to join and help promote your offer.

At the end of the day, everything is a learning curve, but it still shouldn't hold you back. Be sure to build a list as you get buyers, because the majority of your money would / should be made on your back-end.

Also... for anyone buying, be sure to follow up with them personally and get some feedback about your product. Did it help them? Are they still confused with anything? Is there anything they would like to have seen?

Don't hold back, and just get it done

you know, you only really learn something by DOING
you can't expect massive success in your first attempt
you need to do and do again
so even if it bombs, you will learn a lot and 2nd one will be better

Think of this as a great learning experience. If the WSO completely bombs than you can learn from your mistakes. You could even start a thread here on the WF asking about why your product sold so poorly. I expect you would get lots of useful information that way.

Just get it going asnd see where it goes. You might be pleasantly surprised at the success you will have.... but you will never know until you try! Good luck to you!

Precisely. : ) My "motto" of recent has become: "Let's see what happens."

Go for it. If you don't succeed you'll lean something that will help you next time.

      Cheers.

You don't have to be perfect to launch a product. If you feel that you put everything into it, launch it and then add content if you feel like you need to do that.

That's what people told me. People said that if I don't have a JV Launch, if I don't work on getting affiliates, few people are going to buy.

      Well..

I'm not even using paypal, warrior payments, jvzoo, warriorplus, etc. I also don't have any affiliates and didn't prepare a JV launch and have made more than most people with a decent amount of affiliates.

What I've had going for me though, is reputation. I've helped a lot of people over the years and had somewhat of a following that anything I put in my signature is going to get a lot of clicks.

It's better to try and not to try at all, even if you try and fail:
    you will gain experience,
you will learn from your mistakes to avoid next time.
I tried before and i am trying again now with more confidence.

    Learn from your mistakes.

No such thing as failure.. It's an illusion created in the mind.

Who cares if it doesn't make money... What will you learn and what will you do differently/change to make it work!

There's no success without failure. It simply doesn't exist so get over i say.

Be confident! Even if it bombs learn from the experience. See what you did wrong and try to improve it for next time.

Some pointers: Make sure you're actively recruiting affiliates, and if you have a list presell the product to them to get more sales.

Looks like you have some great advice and motivational posts above. I have never launched a WSO. One thing I can add, and it was stated above, is take care of your customers.

If they have questions, answer them! Don't be afraid to ask for them to leave you a review.

      Good luck with your launch!

I totally agree I was thinking of adding my personal email for the wso incase anyone one stuck so they could ask me anything. This way I know that they can fully get the end result and overcome anything that the customer is unsure of plus in business customers are the life blood and its a number one priority to look after them.

The best way to deal with it is to look at it just as a learning experience and zero profits. Don't keep your hopes pinned on this one - have other income streams to support you.

These so called "negative" expectations will take care of the frustration. Don't expect to win and when you do win that would make you feel like the king of the world.

    You will newer be perfect....
We’re all afraid of something. We’re all afraid of what other
people will think out us. Nobody is happy if he is criticized.
For example, We’re all afraid of failing, maybe some people a little bit afraid, some people very, very afraid. But all of us have that fear.
The point is, everybody has fear and we must to learn to live with our fear.
You have to accept your fear to see it and recognize it.
The first step is to accept your fear… “Yes, I have fear and yes, I’m afraid of this.”
    You have to be honest.

If you stop because of fear, your life will become boring and dead.
On the other hand if you do continue despite the fear you keep going. You keep pushing yourself, challenging yourself. Then you will improve feel alive and you will feel lot of energy. People will notice and they will see that you are living
your dream and trying to improve.

Keep working at it. Do it. Don’t stop because of your fear. This is a never ending process. You never stop challenging yourself. You never stop pushing past fear. The fear will always be there.
There will always be something new, a bigger dream you want to try and the fear is
going to try to stop you and you always have to keep going. As long as you’re alive, this
will happen. It never, ever stops.

So dream big, accept fear and start with your WSO now! Perfectionism will kill you...

Get rid of the fear factor and understand your customer demand. You may or may not do well with your first wso, but failure can also teach you good lessons. The idea is to not give up.

Learning how to do internet marketing, is like learning to walk. You will have to fall down a lot and scrape your knees before you get it right. Like someone else said, just collect those emails, that's the start of any successful internet marketing venture. That applies to any product, any service, any niche.

My first WSO was a loss but I bumped it a few times to help build my list.

    Second WSO same story really.

My third WSO was priced pretty low and I sold about 750 copies or so.

My fourth WSO sold 50 copies after I invested over $1k building it, I was upset, I closed my account and didn't come back for another year. I tried it again, same product but I had more knowledge of what I was doing by then and some good proof screenshots. Sold 5,000 copies made 6 figures and got JV Zoo product of the day 3 times.

It's up and down but you have to build up to it. You can't have success w/o failure.
