It depends what you mean by "a good income", I think.

If you're looking for the kind of online income-producing activity which is basically trading time for money, then in principle it ought to be possible, if you have marketable skills, to earn a reasonable hourly rate.

If you're looking to build a real, asset-based business, then that ought to be possible, too, but it's probably going to take a pretty long time, with 2 hours' work per day.

If you have a day off once a week, you're going to average out at around 50 hours per month, which is probably a little less, on average, than a quarter of the workload of most people who are trying to set up their own business.

It doesn't matter, and it varies anyway, but I employ three full-time people now, so my answer doesn't help you anyway.

When I started, I did about 30 hours per week (about 130 hours per month - more than two-and-a-half times as much as you're asking about), and I had existing skills before I started, and it still took me 5 months to earn anything worth talking about. But I was trying to build a real business, not just to "make some income".

It's like everything else in internet marketing (and probably "in business", in general?): it depends on your own skills. There isn't an objective, "best" way. And you might want to take with a pinch of salt the input of anyone who suggests there is, without knowing anything about your skills. Income is derived from skills.

In principle, I strongly advise you to avoid starting anything which depends on search engines for your primary traffic.

I always suggest to people that they shouldn't put time and effort into trying to attract SEO traffic, for two main reasons: first, it's very precarious and makes your business Google-dependent, and any business that's Google-dependent is no more than one algorithm-change away from a potential accident (or even a potential disaster), as so many Warriors have been finding out over the last year or two, some of them to their very great cost; secondly, for me, search engine traffic, in every single one of my niches, has been uniformly the worst-converting traffic out of everything I've ever tried - search engine visitors to all my websites typically stay the least time, view the fewest pages, opt in the least often and actually buy anything by far the least often. I admit I do get tons of search engine traffic to all my main sites (because high rankings for multiple keywords happen to be a minor side-benefit of the main targeted traffic-generation method I use) but I'd hate to have to make a living just from that traffic. If you have a good look round the forum, you'll also see plenty of other Warriors making exactly this point.

I know "resking" must be a simple and obvious typo for something, but I can't work out what it is you mean. (On a "brighter day" I'd know - sorry!).

I started my whole business for about $60, and from its 5th month onwards, I made a reasonable living from it, if it helps/interests you (but I have no idea whether it will be suitable or relevant to you at all, because we don't know what your skills are, and honestly there are no real answers to your questions without knowing that!): http://www.warriorforum.com/main-int...ml#post9267905

(Note: It looks like Alexa beat me to most of what I was about to say... But when has someone already having comprehensively answered the question stopped 78 more people from chiming in again and again and again? So the short version of what I'm about to say is re-read Alexa. But here's the long version anyway )

I suppose it depends on what you mean by "good" but most people who are making what I'd call good money are working a lot more than that -- and that especially holds true when you're starting out. Others may disagree, but I think in most cases starting a business on the premise of working only 1-2 hours a week is a bad idea:
    1. It's already signaling to me that your heart isn't fully in it. If it's just an extra income source and not something you're passionate about, when the money doesn't immediately fall into your lap (and it won't), you'll likely get discouraged.
    2. Starting a business is not like working a job. You don't get paid for the time you work, but for the value you deliver. So it doesn't really work to say, if I work 60 hours at this online business, I'll make $12,000/month, so instead I'll work only 2 hours and make $2,000. The Pareto principle states that 20% of businesses make 80% of he money and so if you're only working 1 - 2 hours a week but you're competing against businesses working 40, 60, 80 or 800 hours a week (businesses have staff), you're going to find it hard to break into that top 20%. Thus, in the example above, instead of making $2,000/month working 2 hours a week you might be lucky to make $200. That's just simple economics.

There are lots of "best ways" -- but they all start with you and your skills, interests, talents and passions. Read through this site and even more importantly look at existing businesses on the internet with an eye towards something that you think you could do better than others (remember the Pareto principle!) It doesn't necessarily have to be something you're an expert at now, but you should at least have the capacity to grow into that expertise.

For instance, if you're generally a good writer, but don't know anything about writing effectively for the internet, with enough practice an article-marketing strategy might eventually work for you. If, on the other hand, writing is something you hate and have no talent for, it's obviously not a good fit. The point is, don't do something just because it works for others, find something that will work for you.

I suppose for some people coaching might be a good idea, but to me the MMO coaching industry just seems odd, so I'll just shut up and let others to answer this one.

The one thing you need to realize is that when you first start out, it can take you a few hours every single day to get your business off the ground.

Find a good coach and then implement everything that you have learned.

Once your business is working for you and making you money, you can put it on auto-pilot and still earn money.

    1. Be consistent. How much time you put in is irrelevant in my opinion. For example if you only have 20 minutes a day to work on your amazon business so be it! Just BE consistent with that 20 minutes every day and make sure you're doing money making activities. Eventually you'll reach your destination!

    2. Ebay, Amazon, WF (These all have integrated traffic sources theres no need to generate the traffic yourself)

    3. SEO is a waste of time.

    4. Sleep quicker =

Fifty Bucks is nothing. You will need a lot more than that. A few thousand may be more correct to just get you going. (yes there are cheap and free ways but after you get tired of those, you'll either end up quitting or Paying).

Yes there are people who learn how to become successful on their own but...

Do you know how long it takes the 'average' person to REPLACE their income online?

About 13 years (if they try to do it all on their own)

If you plan on working 1 - 2 hours per day, it could take you a full year to start seeing results.

As for coaching programs, it will take multiple. There isn't one course that will teach you everything that you need to become a successful.

And the ONLY way to learn around here is to start 'Doing'.

    Trial and error baby!

I work less than 2 hours per day (but have been building momentum for 9 years).

1-2 hours? That is enough time to build a real solid business online. When I first started out I was doing 10 hours a day just grinding away.

If you're really serious you would invest more time in your online business.

As to your question....start an email list. Get subscribers. Sell them something. Rinse and repeat.

You'll end up doing a ton of SEO on offers, products and services that don't convert bud and waste a ton of time.

Your best bet is to do something where the traffic is already there. Udemy, Ebay, Graphics, Warrior Forum WSO, Warriors For Hire, Amazon etc.

I've been down your road it's a waste of time and energy. Yes I got it to work eventually but I could of made it easier for myself.

While you can make money with it, make sure you put your head down as things don't happen over night with SEO unless you know what you're doing.

To keep yourself motivated you need to see the fruits of you labour rapidly. The above sites and methods are platforms you can make money with THIS WEEK!

      Very easily too.

I am Just warning you man.

      Hope this helps.

Hey man seo can be very expensive if you want to find huge success. To compete with the big boys who are dominating those key words you will need to have all the correct software and other products to even know where to start! Udmey is a great place to start as Gavin mentioned above. I made my first $100 online with Udemy!
