noun: collaboration; plural noun: collaborations
1.
the action of working with someone to produce or create something.
"he wrote on art and architecture in collaboration with John Betjeman"
  • something produced or created by collaboration.
"his recent opera was a collaboration with Lessing"
2.traitorous cooperation with an enemy.
"he faces charges of collaboration"

I would like to know how many Warrior's actually use other Marketers within their, or out of their Niche to collaborate on the development of the new products?

Now from the above definition the first is quite obvious, and the second maybe not so much.

This is the premise of my question, that I am hoping invites discussion. Most importantly how it can be used as a vehicle to do many things within the production of unique product creation.
Some of the obvious, benefits are much similar to a standard JV deal, give-away event. They would help create new prospects to your list building efforts.

A huge benefit for someone that is a Freelancer offering their services to others, and maybe as a part of their payment the get access to the Product as if it was their own, or maybe be the payment. There are an abundance of Freelancers that will negotiate their terms for payment.

For the Newbie collaboration is an absolute need, as the most difficult thing there is to be a successful Marketer is the learning curve we all faced, or face as a beginning Marketer.
Collaboration would be a need filled, and we all know "Needs" sell! So by collaborating with a newbie you learn to understand the specific needs, which in turn creates a very salable product within that Niche.

This is a very small list, the point is with all the necessary steps it takes to get a new unique product from idea to that first sale, there are obvious benefits from collaboration.
Let's be honest most Marketers, newbie to expert all lack expertise in one or two of those steps, and could certainly benefit from some sort of Collaboration with the process of creating that new "must have" product.

So the question is; Do any of you do this sort of thing?
....and would you be willing to do more of it?

professional marketers probably are not interested in working with a beginner. if someone has a good product idea, upsell downsell ideas, then they can pay someone for copy or try to do it all on their own.

personally, yes i have [keyword] networked with others outside my niche and created one in particular that did fantastic. i am willing to do more, but i am getting to the point where i am saying why would i do that...now i am busy looking for affiliates and prepping for launch, testing, tracking promoting, networking blah blah

learn how to make funnels it opens lots of possibilities

Let's be honest most Marketers, newbie to expert all lack expertise in one or two of those steps,
    Keyword being "most."

If you could look closely at the lives of really successful marketers you would find that we are also artists and musicians and creative, resourceful types of all kinds.

    It ain't for every one.

Ok so aside from the Collaboration being between any specific group. ie. Guru working with Newbie.
      What about in general?
You don't think there can be no advantage to a group of Marketers actually working together combining their knowledge and expertise to create a project that is beneficial too all of them?
Is outsourcing really only the acceptable way? I would think many Marketers would embrace a group project. Maybe it would not necessarily be just a couple but a few involved.
Would this not be away for the "non guru types" to be able to develop bigger better products?
I guess I am just trying to think out of the box here.
