Niche Sites

Hi,

I have been looking through the forum and noticed that there are warriors who create niche Adsense, Clickbank, and Amazon sites. I was hoping to get some advice as I am thinking about purchasing one of these niche sites. They guarantee that you will make money with these sites but I am not sure if that is the case. Has anyone purchased this types of sites and are making money now? Any other advice on the pros and cons will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!!

    If they guarantee you'll make money, they are lying and you should run. No one can guarantee you or any one else will make money from a site. Just because you have a site does not mean you'll make an income. "Build it and they will come" doesn't hold true on the net.

    It's like anything else, it depends on what you put int to it. You could make nothing, or you could cash in, it's up to you.

    There is also sites that are affiliate sites, like selling physical products, say from amazon, or digital sites selling things like ebooks.

    I am not a fan of Adsense, it can be low paying and not much of a money maker. Not in ever case, but for many it doesn't bring in much. Course, my opinion.

    You just need to decide what niche you want to get into. That is a personal choice really.

    Theres a guy called wolfmii on here who makes niche sites that are custom made. 90% of the "niche site" sellers on here will sell you a very nice looking site but the content is not unique, and it will have been sold to 10's or hudreds of people before. You wont make money with them.

    Even if you had the best designed website and with a lot of great content, a website still needs daily attention in order to keep making money from it. So if someone tells you that, you should buy a website and do nothing with it and carry on making "passive income", I would not believe it. Better start all on your own and build a unique niche site.

      Thanks guys for your replies! After reading through the threads, I realized that the OP clarified that income would depend on the person keeping up with the site. I looked up the wolfmii seller and it looks like he has left customers stranded without any support.

      I really want to make this work and I am going to work at it until I succeed. Any of you guys that could recommend me an all inclusive course or wso that would help me start earning. I have been reading a lot of information but they seem to just be pieces and not the complete system that would help me start earning online. I know that it takes time to start making money but I would really appreciated if anyone could direct me to a course that would take me there the fastest. Again thanks and I really appreciate your help!

    The only way they can guarantee you will make money is if the website is already up and running and bringing in revenue consistently.

    There are places on the internet where you can buy sites that are already running and making money, but typically you will have to pay somewhere between 12 to 36x the monthly revenue to buy the site. And you also have to hope the site isn't a scam with fake inflated statistics, like many sites are on Flippa (one of the biggest site selling websites out there).

    Just as an example, awhile back I spoke to someone who built a site with 100+ content pages that was earning around $650/month in Adsense and ebook sales. The seller wanted $15,000 for the site. That's the type of money you'll have to pay if you want "guaranteed" income.

    If you have enough money to advertise your site then it can be with profit. SEO is harder these days, but is not impossible. So with unique articles and socials also your site can win money!

    Niche sites can be good for making money but content on these sites must be original or updated with original content to be productive. You could out source to the process and have an original site. If you are on a tight budget I would check fiverr. You can also check places like odesk and free lancer. What ever you don't do well get someone else to do it. I was once told that by a consultant I met.

    No one can objectively say that you can make X amount in Y days in internet marketing. It depends on a number of factors.
    Some discerning points:
    Scrutinize the niche of the website
    Review the competitions
    Review website's KPIs: Daily traffic, Page Rank, DA, keywords against which its ranking

    Get the website through some online checking tools like W3C validity, WooRank, QuickSprout to see how its built.

    I purchased one of these type of sites back in 2011, it didn't make a penny until I INVESTED some money into it.

    The quality of the website would not meet the expectations of Google in 2014 but maybe the quality of these type of sites has got better since then. The content on the site was mostly spun content and I couldnt see anyone visiting the site be happy with the browsing experience.

    BUT...

    After investing some money and getting into the top 5 I did make a few amazon affiliate sales but then quickly went down in rankings after a Google update.

    My advise is to just create your own website and stay clear of these websites.

    Just buying a site you can't earn money. You have to do many thins to make your website money making machine. You have to join a affiliate program. You have to post regular problem solving Articles with all benefits and important information about your product. You have to give effort to bring traffic to your pages. If they buy your product then you can earn money.

    To earn money not as easy as new people think. You have to learn a lot about all terms and all related things of Online Affiliate Marketing. You can learn from online courses, YouTube, Google. You can check free video tutorials about affiliate, bringing traffic, selling product, your favorite niches from the links of my signature. I think they will be helpful for you.

    A niche website can also be a money making machine..... but if you are thinking of just posting few articles and start earning money..... it is not possible.

    You have to make your niche site an authority site for the niche..... you have to post lots of content, you have to cover all the things that the niche deals in, not only for selling stuffs but also, history, evolution, research and make it incredible....

    Of course, you will be earning money....

    And for the daily attention, if you have built links, traffic will be coming on daily basis, this will keep your website up-to-date.... you schedule some posts as well, to update the site...

        Niche site would be so many things. Like Dog collars, dog beds. Cat tree's, ect. Could be general or narrow. General could be dog toys. Narrow could be dog studded collars.

    These shake and bake sites are being sold dozens of times around the internet. So you won't end up with anything new. And, instead you'll have a clone or copy of someone else's site. Duplicate content aside, how can you rank a site that will be a copy of ten or twenty other sites? To me, that sounds like another case of thin affiliate site.

      Adam Short has some decent training on niche sites at Niche Profit Classroom. With the membership you also get ready made "out of the box" niche sites created for you.

      I used some of his info awhile back to create my own little niche site and it worked. However, I think it's better to create your own niche site following a specific plan rather than using one already made.

      As mentioned, they do take some work to maintain so it's best to use the all or nothing approach. In other words, put all of your heart and soul into your projects to ensure a greater chance of success.

        If you're creating your own niche site with original content and articles, it's likely to be more of a success than one that is copied from other sites. You'll be personally invested into the site if you have more to do with it's creation. And, the original content will be more valued by your site visitors and Google.

    1. Choose niche
    2. Deep Keyword research - try to find keyword(or phrase) with 2K+ searches per month (more is better)
    3. Buy hosting and domain
    4. Set up wordpress site
    5.Do great ON page seo ( Seo Yoast plugin will help you a lot) and do natural interlinking and few outlink to same niche.
    6. Writte informative and unique articles.Dont even think of spun or stolen content.
    7.Build organic link (this is really hardest part,here you can read a lot about building links,but more you read more you will be confused,because everybody have different techniques).

    Thats my 7 steps, for 8 one we need to ask somebodey else to continue this flow , because im not on 8 level yet and i need help too

    Yes you can make money from niche sites. Here are my tips : Create a blog and from there offer valuable information pertaining to your niche, from their install some SEO friendly plugins on your blog and you can monetize it with affiliate offers and make it about you. My recommendation is that you build your email list with the information you are providing, that way you can make sales on autopilot recommending solutions to your prospects over and over again. Will it be easy? No, however if you are willing to put in work into your blog, your site will soon become more authority naturally and you will get lots of traffic from search engines and if you have social shares you can go viral with people sharing your information. If you do that you will have a very green business.
