Please Give Me Feedback On My Site

Hey guys, I just created my first site/blog in which I have some articles providing advice to people in various different areas. At the same time a few of these articles promote Clickbank products and I have some Adsense banners in there as well. I've had a few hundred visitors so far by using Facebook ads but no sales so far.

I always look for feedback on how I can improve things, especially from other internet marketers. So if you have some extra time can you please go through my site and give me some HONEST feedback or advice on what I should/should not do, how I can make it better, or some ideas of ways to get more traffic? I would highly appreciate it and I promise you won't hurt my feelings if you say something negative hahaha. Thanks!

Overall the website looks very good. The only thing that I didn't really like about it was the footer. Just change the footer up a bit and make it look nicer. Also instead of just having the words for "Facebook" "Twitter" ect.. Have a button, it looks better. Also change the favican to your fist logo.

I would also make the text in the slider images bigger and make them stand out, they look very small.

I think you will do Very good and make money if you can successfully drive traffic.

    Hope this helps

    Hi,

I took a look at your site and first impressions were good.

You have made great use of images in your articles as I found them to be all relevant to the topic to hand. Good work.

I found the writing style to be appealing as well and I could not see any obvious typos or grammatical errors.

OK, so you have had a few hundred visitors but no sales?

What keyword(s) are you targeting and where are you in the SERPs (Search engine results)... eg Google Page 3, position 7.

To rank for any given keyword ideally you should be on page one, as very few people browse beyond the first page.

The other thing I noticed was that I didn't feel like I was being directed in any particular direction, if that makes sense.

So for example, if you were promoting an Internet Marketing program called, Super Success Now (I just made that name up), then you would discuss a bit about it in your articles and leave a link to a full review about it and in the review would be your affiliate link. As opposed to leaving your affiliate link in the original seed article - that would be trying to make a sale too early - prospect needs warming up first. Does that make sense?

These were the main things I found with your site - overall impression though was good.

Try and post each day if the site is new, or failing that at least 4 times per week. When the site is a few months old, you can scale down to about once or twice per week if that helps.

When writing your articles, include your keyword in the title and in the first couple paragraphs - apart from that, just write naturally - stop focusing on the keyword as this could lead to unnatural writing style and the search engines are so smart they could detect this, but if they don't your visitors will!

Hope this helps and let me know how you get on.

I don't know if you are sending paid traffic to your homepage. If that is what you are doing, then that is too generic. I would focus on sending traffic to and 'individual' post or page. Make sure that the landing page is specific to the traffic coming in.

1- People are very easily 'distracted' and don't really have much of an attention span. You have about 5 to 8 seconds to get their attention so make sure not to waste your traffic and money.

2- You don't appear to be capturing leads and building a list. 99% of the people online do not buy the first time around when they see your offer.

This does not mean that they aren't interested. People unlike entrepreneurs can take a very long time to make a 'decision'. Just human nature I guess. You need to send them to a lead capture page and then to your 'offer' as a redirect.

Even though I gave you some info on how to get better conversions and actually make sales, it's going to take some learning for you in the form of 'trial and error'.

    That is how we learn.

Good for you at least you are 'doing' and not just learning.

The blog looks nice and appealing.

What I didn´t like is that the text over the slider images is not clickable - so I thought this is a dummy site (the two image links below your slogan 'Learn. Take Action. Succeed.').

Your homepage and also the page you link to in your footer (listing many different ways to MMO) is too generic and you miss a clear call to action on your homepage to stay in touch with you.

I would recommend making single squeeze pages for every pain that you want to promote a product for and drive targeted traffic there. Capture the email. Make the offer on the thank-you page.

And then test which pages and which traffic source convert best and scale this out.

    Take care
    Alex
