What would be the best way to market this

Never thought I'd ever buy a franchise but I did. This is within the gaming industry. The look and feel of the game is centered around the 1849 gold rush. It is getting released probably just before summer although Beta version is out now and will be released in Engish, French, German, Spanish, Italian, Hindu and Chinese. We are hoping the gaming industry will be really excited about this as it is the first free game in which you are mining for gold, you find it and put it into your pouch, you can then exchange it for real gold bars managed by our gold company which is geared up for this and has over 40 years experience. Training for me will be provided nearer the launch but was thinking of heading people over to a landing page just now with early access and news, so when it does launch they visit my part of the mine. I own 12,500 square feet of the mine. We make money through the buying of tools and the clothing of the avatar (if you wish), so it is a small amount of money earned but hopefully through many people. Think it would be to costly going through aweber, is there a free autoresponder, maybe only be for couple of emails and then the launch. Would it be worthwhile creating a blog, would also be to dear pay per click. What about banners, where is the best place to put them ?
