Rule of thumb, the better the solo seller, the less questions you will need to ask...

As all of the details should be properly displayed on their 'solo sales letter'.

Where they get traffic, the tier %, how long it will take to go out...

Along with plenty of social proof that the person simply knows what they're doing.

Don't ask them any questions. The scammers will only tell you what you want to hear. So asking questions will not help you to determine if they are a good or bad solo ad seller.

Read the solo ad testimonial groups on Facebook. Also read the solo ad scam report groups on Facebook.

How the list was built with a free offer or with sales that were made. This would determine for me if it were a list of people that might buy or just looking for free stuff.

A siple advice you can follow is this: Did the solo ad seller actually sell his own products in the past, or did he build a list just so he can sell solo ads?

This should help out a lot along with testimonials.

ask for testimonials....he can not lie about those. either fb group testimonials or another platfrom. always test. test 50-100 clicks. if no sales ....move on.

Didn't bought solo ads much, more prefer buying funnel clicks..

But I only buy traffic from recommended sellers with lots of positive testimonials and they are active in FB groups with recent testimonials so you can see for yourself the quality of their traffics (The T1, delivery time, optins, sales, etc)..

Beides all the answers above, there aren't much questions to be asked. Usually if you ask one, they will answer completely with all the details you'll need. This is one point that shows us they're a good seller..

Maybe you can ask politely for a first buyer discount? Most people didn't ask this when buying solo

Here are my tips to filtering out junk vendors.

    - How was your list built ?

    - Do you have a landing page I can check out?

    - Are buyers included ? If so buyers of what ?

    - What % of your subscribers are from English spoken countries?

    - How often do you e-mail you list ?

Lots of MMO solo ad vendors are in it for the money. It's always best to start low like 100 clicks and than scale it if you want to test out someones "list" , you can't always be 100% sure what their quality of traffic is so be aware of any red flags. If they seem to have a full time solo ad business, I would question why if there list is so great.

Before you ask a solo ad seller ANY questions ask yourself this: Do I have a complete funnel in place designed to turn paid traffic into profits? If you just have a front-end product with no upsells or funnel that wasn't well thought out, I wouldn't even worry about getting traffic.

Make sure you have all of your own stuff in place... (exit pops, downsells, upsells, abandonment follow-up sequence, ascension sequence for customers who didn't buy upsells, etc...)

Then, the questions other people asked here will do you the most justice.

Really old thread, however, ask the vendor if your offer is likely to perform well with their user base.

Hopefully, you've already done your homework (vouched for positive reviews) so you know that the vendor has good intentions.

If that's the case, then they are statistically likely to tell if your offer will match their audience.
