If you're new to ClickBank, I don't think you should be trying to teach other people how to do it successfully (besides which, it isn't ok to paste things from forums onto your own website).

I am interested in the ideas not copying the exact wording. When I went to university I recall my professors reading books and articles written by experts so they can increase their knowledge and teach their students. Knowledge has to come from somewhere and the warrior forum is a great resource data base.I love to share information.

PPC with Google Adwords, Facebook Ads & Bing Ads are good way to go. Because you're new, try Bing Ads first.

Using Bing to promote Clickbank is the easiest solution so far.

You don't see much people mentioning it cause no one want anymore competition right now.

But, the field is always available for new players as there are so many niches to Bing on.

Lets say your clickbank product woodworking, when someone searches woodworking on Bing the very top results will be ads and then some more ads along the side. Lets say your ad shows up in the 3rd ad place, when someone clicks on your ad you pay 40 cents or whatever your bid is for the keyword that was searched.

With Clickbank, however, I think Bing has the same rule as Google Adwords, you can't direct link to you Clickbank product. You will have to have a website or a landing page with your Clickbank product on it.

It would largely depends on whether you wanted to be an affiliate or a product creator. If product creation is your forte, then there are tools and resources for it. For the most part, affiliate marketing just involves driving traffic to an offer, capture email address using a squeeze page

The best tips and tools in the end all comes down to how you present yourself in building credibility and trust with your audience... Therefore before you can run you need to walk... So begin with understanding your target audience, understanding their pain points and what it is that you can do to help and provide value... Take it from there and the other steps will fall into place.. ;-)

Tryed Google Adwords for the first time recently, they won´t take clickbank domains to approve. At least not with my account. Do you use some kind of trick, like, submitting a landing page and then redirecting for that?

If you call it a "trick", then yes.

It needs to be specifically an opt-in page, not just a landing page. (http://www.warriorforum.com/main-int...ml#post9319964)

It wouldn't make too much sense to direct-link from an AdWords (or similar) ad to a hoplink anyway. That would be like trying to fill the bath by opening the taps fully but without remembering to put the plug in the hole first: you'd be losing almost everything, almost immediately.

If it were possible to sell ClickBank products successfully that way, why would all those vendors be paying us 75% of their takings just for supplying the traffic? Wouldn't they just do that themselves (or even employ someone to do it for them) and earn so much more?

Successful ClickBank affiliate marketing is intrinsically an email marketing business, as explained here: http://www.warriorforum.com/main-int...ml#post7110523

Here's the reality: to earn significant money from this kind of affiliate marketing, you need to do three things ...

      (i) Keep your potential customers returning to the sales page (because not so many people buy anthing much at their first visit to a sales page!);

      (ii) Make increasing sales (ideally at progressively higher prices) to the same "captive audience" who regularly rely on and trust your recommendations;

(iii) Establish the credibility and trust necessary to do both the above by earning's people respect as a provider of niche-related information.

Without building lists, of course, you can't do any of the three and you'd just be throwing away almost all the traffic you ever generate that doesn't buy anything immediately.

What kind of way to run a business would that be?

For most people, most of the time, it's just about as simple as that, overall.

These three threads are more informative ...

Is it a good idea to spend some time on building a mailing list ?

The most important thing you can do, in my opinion, is to find the right product. The first clickbank offer I promoted made me over a $1000 in commissions using direct linking and 1 free traffic method only - a single Youtube video. That was a great product with a decent front end.

Having said that, most marketers will tell you to build a list and promote as it will generate more sales over time. This is the way to go with Clickbank and other products, however, the important thing is still finding a quality product that converts and won't generate tons of refunds.

Does Youtube still allow direct linking? I know You used to be able to direct link on Craigslist and Google Adwords and a lot of people made a lot of easy money back then but those days are long over.

If the link is in the description you can direct link - you just can't do it from within the video itself

So posting a direct link to a Clickbank product in a YouTube description won't get the video owner's account banned?
Any risk to their account by editing to include a direct link to an affiliate product like CB?

  • If you haven't got a Bing account, I suggest you register one. They give you a free $30 coupon for advertising which you can use for Clickbank marketing.

Another way is to find a product, check the gravity, see that there is not a lot of competition. Register a domain name for the Clickbank product but add the word "review" to the end of it.

    E.G: Clickbank product "review".com

Make a product review on the product with at least 600 words. Also create a YouTube video for extra views and add the affiliate link in the description.

Create some backlinks and boost the site/video to the top of Google for the Clickbank product review.

    That's it.

You should see some initial sales after you have ranked for the site.

BTW, this method will only work for over hyped product releases which pay tonnes of money to get the product known such as Google Sniper 2.0

This can't reliably be determined from gravity figures. There are some very high-gravity products not being promoted by affiliates at all. There's no correlation between gravity and sales numbers, no correlation between gravity and conversion-rates, and not necessarily even a correlation between gravity and the number of affiliates promoting a product. Here are some posts/threads which explain why, in some detail ...

There's no benefit from that, and if you're an affiliate, it wouldn't make a lot of sense to design and build your business so that it's dependent on the continued success and availability of one specific product, at all, would it? One of the great advantages of being an affiliate is that we have complete flexibility about which individual products we promote, and - unlike vendors - we can build a genuine, asset-based business without it being dependent on any specific product at all. It would be a "strange" approach to choose to give up that major advantage before we even start?

      That's it.
There are many different ways of promoting ClickBank products as an affiliate. I've made my living from it for over 6 years now (and have, during that time, tried several of them). In my opinion, however you look at it and whatever you do, all the successful methods, from which people genuinely make steady money, or earn a living, or build a business, really boil down to three inescapable essentials.
      • You have to choose wisely the products you promote (because if you get that wrong, it clearly won't make any difference what else you do). The guidelines here have proven helpful to many people: Selecting the product
      • You have to pre-sell effectively to well targeted traffic (which obviously means that you have to understand the difference between pre-selling and selling, and you have to have at least one source of well targeted traffic).
      • You have to build subscriber email lists yourself. Not doing this is probably the commonest failing among people who struggle ineffectively to promote ClickBank products. The point to appreciate is that what typically sells them is the strength of your recommendation, your credibility and the trust people have in you. Those things are actually even more important to the sales process than the product and its sales page. It isn't really possible to achieve the outcome you want without building relationships. You have to have a list of your own and an effective continuity-process for its subscribers: What are the essential things to know about list building?
These three things are simply not optional. The reality is that to get anywhere much beyond the occasional semi-random sale, as a ClickBank affiliate, you have to be both willing and able to do all three of them at least adequately. People who imagine and advise otherwise, in my opinion, are not really people making their livings by selling ClickBank products.
