If you're looking to go the free route, then you can consider setting up Google Analytics and using Goals. But a more user friendly and way would be to use something such as ClickMagick or Quality Click Control. Depending on the products you're advertising, they may include inbuilt tracking an you'll just create a label, so that way you'll know where that sale has come from also.

There are numerous tools that you can use, it just depends what you currently have, what your budget is and go from there.

Most wordpress plugins that can build landing pages have this feature integrated.

There are also separate wordpress plugins which can do A/B split testing.

If you don't want to use plugins you can even use a simply rotator software to split test different landing pages and see which one's convert best.

Agree with Jens Steyeart. If you're just starting out and you don't want to use a plugin, just use a simple rotator software for split testing. Easy to setup and even easier to analyze.

I use AdTrackzGold for split testing. Basically, set up two variations of a page you want to test. The point of split testing is to test out one variable against another variable and see which performs better.

You can split test headlines, buttons, copy, etc.

There are also some free split testing tools in Wordpress but the ones I've tested out didn't work that well.

Hi. If you're in Wordpress then you might try using Google Analytics for split testing.
The first thing you need to do is install Google Analytics in WordPress.
Then you would need variations of the original page that you want to test. For example, if you are running tests on your home page, then create another copy of the page with different style and layout.
(You can create multiple variations of a page with different layouts or copy)

If you need a list of tools for split testing, this one might help - https://docs.google.com/a/staff.com/...N-55T0/pubhtml

It has 15 different split testing tools including pricing as a Google spreadsheet.
