Hi guys,

I want to make some money online so I'm thinking about writing an ebook and promoting it with Clickbank and maybe a WSO here, but I have a problem...

I have absolutely no idea about what to write!

I'm sick and tired of money-making systems: there is too much competition and most of them don't work, so I need another niche.

In your opinion, would an ebook about optimizing, speeding up and protecting the computer sell? Or about learning HTML and other web programming languages? I'm a computer expert so I think I may use my knowledges for an ebook, but I fear that no one will buy it since most informations can be found on the Internet for free.

What do you think?

Think about the problems people have with their computer.

For example, when someone's computer runs slow it can mean a ton of things. People don't want to search around for a lot of free "techy" tutorials.

Could you write an ebook with a few videos about different ways to speed up your computer for free/cheap?

What about "how to build your very first website" and provide some HTML templates they can upload into a free web designer (Seamonkey or something else) and edit with just the WSYSIWYG editor?

Those are 2 ideas that come to mind with the computer niche.

Just focus on the problems people have, create a simple and easy solution, then put it in front of the right people.

some one as already wrote a ebook on computers (for xp and vista OS) ...of the issues performance etc...its like 52 pages and he gave me a copy 3 days ago for review...anywas good luck.may be u can think of MAC

Hi Pog,

Try looking at yahoo answers for some idea on what to write about..whether HTML or PC troubleshooting..You can get tons of idea there on what to write about..

One last thing..so what happened to your sig?

The computer speeding up, protecting, and optimized niche is a great niche to get into. Especially since there are people brand new to computers and the internet everyday.

One suggestion would be to provide an ebook as a general guide but then show people how to do different things via videos. You can download Camstudio @ CamStudio - Free Screen Recording Software for free instead of shelling out a couple hundred dollars for camtasia.

It is a very good screen capture system (especially for the price). I use it to create all of my tutorials. You can charge a lot higher price for video tutorials versus just plain ebook or keep the price low and it will seem like a great deal.

"Most information can be found on the internet for free"... is total b.s. The Internet is polluted with bad information. Half the time Wikopedia is wrong about things. People know this that's why they trust "experts" with products.

Go for it. You have nothing to lose. I also specialize in the computer niche. I can vouch that people still buy despite all the information in the world. In fact, information is our friend. People are looking for something organized and concise. If you spent hours or weeks researching and writing something worthwhile, certainly there are buyers out there in search of that information!

Not really, it's just that you were telling us about being undecided on what to write about, yet your sig promotes an ebookmasters site..

There's some incongruency..just noticed it..but it's really nothing..
