buying IM products - a newbie question

I was setting up my own site for the launch of my first product - reaping the rewards from eBay.

When people buy the book using PayPal what's the best way to make sure the book gets delivered to them.

Shall I just check the emails from PayPal, or is there a convinient, and preferably free way of instant delivery??

Hmm... I don't know of a free way to do this. The best I can offer is to buy Rapid Action Profits or Amember or something similar and install it. It will handle everything you need.

Just use the redirect function in the paypal interface...once the person has paid, it will take them to the reciept screen..there should be a link to "return to the owner's homepage" (or something to that effect).

If you are really in doubt, I guess you could always double up by manually emailing them although I never have.

An autoresponder is really the best way.

      Hi Saq,

I used a service that connects with PayPal called PayLoadz. They charge a small amount for the transaction, but work seamlessly with PayPal. I stopped using them when my sales increased so much that I had the money for a great web guy to build a Joomla site for me and I now use a shopping cart program on the site.

      I hope this helps.

I've never seen anyone NOT recommend aweber.

I'm still a semi-broke new-person, but I signed up before their price increase.

With their current price structure, I would have to recommed GetResponse for anyone starting out-- or, one of the Aweber "franchises", which at last check still offered the "old" aweber prices and all aweber features-- owned by some IM gurus...

(I hope I get the "owners" correct"-- and these are NOT affiliate links)

Funny, in the above post I "cut-n-pasted" the auto responder links right from my Firefox address bar (in the form "http://www...). I don't know where the "text" came from.

I've used Payloadz for a few digital products and it always worked well. Their fees can be a bit steep though if you start selling lot of products.
