Okay it's 2015 - What link packages actually work?

Kinda says it all in the title

I used one link provider exclusively throughout 2012-2014 and did very well out of it, however that service is no longer available.

So i'd love to know your recommendations for monthly link-building services... i'd like a completely hands-off approach other than to change keywords every so often

So if anyone's still ranking... please get in touch!

All the best for 2015

It doesn't matter, because the ones that work now will end up being identified and penalized by Google anyway, as has so reliably and consistently happened in the past.

It makes no long-term sense at all to base your off-page SEO on a strategy in response to which to which Google has so unambiguously, repeatedly and consistently stated that identifying and penalizing its users remains such a high and determined priority.

SO TRUE. For a long time, any SEO achieved should come as a result of other endeavours, not at the expense of. Slow? - probably, but your website will get lots of Google love rather than penalization.

Why not hire a VA, train them to get "Legitimate" links. It would probably cost about the same as these pump and dump link-builders

I absolutely agree... but you're making the assumption that i'm overly bothered about sites being taken down.

I have established brands that I won't touch with link packages etc.

I think a lot of people don't want to take the risk, but for me it's been incredibly lucrative in the past... i'm a web-developer by trade and can make a site in an afternoon, outsource some content and links then forget about it.

If it makes money for 3-6 months then that's great! If it gets taken down (as several of my sites have in the past) I don't wallow about trying to resurrect it, I just launch a new one the next day

So I know it's technically a time-bomb... but i'm still interested in backlinks

    Cheers

Yeah I don't mind paying for manual link-building, that's not a problem. I'm not interested in profile links, spun articles etc. etc.
