Affiliate marketing or cpa

Hey guys. Thanks for the answers in advance. I wanted to ask you guys 3 questions.

1. For a beginner, which is easier and more feasible to get a good start with.

2. Can you combine cpa with affiliate marketing

3.can you use any traffic source for these two systems? Like if I brought a wso for Traffic can I use them for cpa or affiliate marketing

Thanks again

With CPA business model you are basically getting paid Per Action ex: Bringing new subscribers.

As an affiliate you get paid when you refer somebody to purchase someone else's product.

I personally prefer the Affiliate business model as it can be much more profitable selling higher priced items.

There is a big demand for many products and services and you can make a good living referring people solutions.

To learn affiliate marketing in this day and age is absolutely essential and a no brainer to me.

Rather than learning things the hard way, it's always best to learn from someone who has experience first.

The good thing about CPA offers is that it is guaranteed income when people enter their info like name and email. If you can get real and targeted traffic, you can make a profit every single time. Also, if you can get paid anywhere between $2-$5 per "lead", that is better then just earning a $1 per "lead".

      The two are different...

CPA = Cost per Action = get paid when x occurs...
(x is usually an action that precedes [happens before] a sale)

AM = get paid a % per sale and a % off of the sales of others you have referred.

[edited] I might add that with CPA you are not responsible for refunds, however,
you must adhere to what is permissible as traffic and other terms of agreement.

With AM, any sales refunds will result in loss of commission.

CPA and CPS the both are affiliate marketing.

If you are just starting out, CPA will be more easier for you as you will earn when people make only a small action like inserting email address or zip code. However you will earn less income than what you can earn with CPS, BUT it easier and you can get paid on a daily basis.

On the other hand CPS is when you refer somebody to purchase someone else's product then you will get your commision. (any sales refunds will result in loss of your commission)
CPS is more harder as you need to know some marketing and technical skills in order to convince people to buy the product you promoting.

You can use any traffic source that is related to the offer you promoting (people interested in it). Ask your traffic provider about his traffic sources. It must be related to your offer category.

Thanks very much for your help and advice. What does cps stand for. Commission per sale

Being an affiliate marketer, I will suggest you to try on affiliate marketing. It is the best way of making money from internet. I usually use Facebook paid Ads and Solo Ads to get traffic. Both of these are really effective way of getting traffic.

All the acronyms don't mean much.

In the end you are promoting someone else's product or service and you get paid based on a certain action happening.

I promote a lot of PPL (pay per lead) offers. If I'm getting the offer through a CPA network, one may say I'm doing CPA marketing and I'm getting paid when I generate a lead.

However, what if I hunt down the owner of the PPL offer and sign up directly with them as an affiliate, then one may say I'm doing affiliate marketing and I'm getting paid when I generate a lead.

Regardless which way I get the offer, it's still the same offer.

Being able to make a profit from it, all comes down to your ability to generate cost effective traffic that converts and / or have systems/processes in place to help you achieve a profit.

    As to your specific questions...

As I already stated, I heavily promote PPL offers. This is because there is no credit card / purchase required to complete an offer. All a user has to do is fill out a form to get paid. So conversion rates are typically much higher than offers that require a purchase. I also promote free sign-ups(dating for example) and free trials + S&H (weight loss, ecig, etc...) SO with free trials, the user is usually getting something that normally would have a $50-$60+ upfront cost and pay like $4.99 for S&H. So while it's not entirely free, they still tend to convert well.

It's all about mass appeal. Offers that have the greatest mass appeal will have the greatest potential to be able to generate high volume.

Basically I'm targeting freebie seekers and putting a free offer(or almost free) in front of them, that has mass appeal and pays well. That is how I have been doing it for over 16 years and have no plans to change, as it works.

What type of traffic can you use will depend on the what the owner of the offer allows. But more importantly it's really going to come down to what offers exist that you can test based on the type of traffic your capable of generating.

Very similar, however different in the type of actions associated with getting paid.

Clickbank offers are great because their funnels tend to be highly optimized (you just need to find them)...

However, can require a little more investing to test (with paid traffic).

CPA offers (like lead gen, or zip submit) have lower payouts...

But require less investing to test (with paid traffic).

    Pick your poison.

You just have more options with CPA.

In CPA, you got free trial offers, first page submit, second page submit, CPS, CPL, etc.

The thing with CPA is that it's easy to get ripped off. Most networks don't carry their own offers - all they got is brokered offers.

How much money you will make comes down to whether or not you find solid networks with exclusive offers and whether or not you've the right traffic for their offers.

I wouldn't promote anything that's brokered. Too many headaches.

The best offers are not necessarily on odigger or offervault (so not where most newbies would look for them).

I've made a lot of money with CPA and it always came down to finding a good advertiser and having volume traffic.
