Just wanted to say I have just recently started to use RoboForm and I only wish I could have found this months ago. For anyone unsure what this is, it saves your passwords and auto fills forms with one click, it's really easy to use and very conveinent if you fill in several forms or are signing up to alot of sites then you will be able to sign up in seconds. I am in no way affiliated with them, I just wanted to let everyone know what a time saver this is and I did first notice RoboForm some time ago mentioned on here by someone but have never got it until now. So thanks to whoever it was who mentioned it. For all you Angela Edwards linkbuilders this would be ideal for you as it would save you a ton of time signing up to so many different sites. There is a free version and a paid Pro version, currently the free version does everything I need it for. KD |

I've had this kicking around on my hard drive for months and never bothered with it. Now that I'm getting into my July packets and also upgrading to Paul's 120 links I'll have to have a go. Manually it takes forever to get those links done. Thanks for reminding me |

I've used Roboform for years and I love it. Keeps all my passwords so I don't have to have them written down and fumble around for them. I don't store my bank passwords in it or credit card numbers - but I do almost everything else. I have the Pro version - the free version only lets you store 10 passwords after 30 days. There are other limitations, but that was the biggest one for me because that's mainly what I use it for - and I have way more than 10 passwords stored in it. I'm not an affiliate - just a very satisfied customer for years. |

I too think Roboform is great, even just for keeping track of the dozens, maybe hundreds of passwords I need. Just know that the free version stops you at about 20 passwords and then requires you to pay. It is cheap though and well worth it....

Yeah I am the same I will not be storing any bank/credit card info but do lot's else with it. If I need to upgrade to the pro(which I probably will soon) I certainly will without any hesitation. KD Quote:

Don't fall too much in love with the free version of RoboForm as it expires after a while. At least mine did. I have the Pro version now and wouldn't want to live without it. One tip, back up your passwords, or at least print the list. I printed mine to PDF. This is important as after using it for awhile, especially with strong passwords, you won't be able to login if anything happens to the list file. I don't remember 75% of my passwords, so I backup and print to PDF regularly. |

The free version does me right now but I am sure I will be upgrading shortly to the Pro version. It is well worth the money. KD Quote:

Roboform is really great, Apart from saving you the stress by easily remembering and saving your passwords, it also protects your password from hackers. There are sites, toolbars, applications that can detect and save passwords typed into webforms.Even worse especially when it's the paypal login form. |

RoboForm should get a medal... It has saved my skin a few times over the past 5 years! Now they have a zip drive version so you can take it with you and plug it into any computer, which is extremely handy if you upgrade computers a lot like I do...I'd be in a world of hurt without this software. I've avoided using RoboForm until just recently... but I believe I'm making up for lost time by all the new logins I've accumulated ever since I've install it on my computer. It really is a time saver.

What I really liked about RoboForm was actually being able to keep track of all of my passwords and the URLs of the sites they went to. It has a print feature too, which is great so you can store a hard-copy of your passwords in the event of a hard drive crash or other computer-related misfortune.

I've been using Roboform Pro for years. It's the most time saving app I've ever used. I wonder if they have Roboform for the iPhone.

Roboform is in my opinion one of the top 5 downloads that everyone should have. Saves so much time, is secure and user friendly.

I have 820 passwords saved - impossible to store all these on bits of paper. Not many mentions of one of the most effective and time saving parts of Roboform - its ability to pre fill web pages. You can create identities and use them to fill a web form with the details you have created beforehand - great if you have to register with a number of sites. Visit site Click on the register / sign up link One click of Roboform, create new password, and press enter - bang ... you are registered. Open email, click confirm Login to site & save Roboform passcard ..... move to next site 30 seconds later |

Roboform is genius. Storing so much data in one place and no matter what happens to your pc - it stays is trully an amazing piece of technology to leverage. Igor |

I have been using the free version of Roboform for a while as am using a lot of backlinks and need to have a place where all the passwords and sign ons are stored. A quick question though - how secure is it and if your pc was hacked would they be able to get into your stored password info or does roboform encrypt it? Sorry if this sounds a stupid question but you have to ask if you don't know! Cheers Keith |

I use the usb portable form of Roboform and the data is in an encrypted container. The container is backed up to AmazonS3 and the passcards are backed up to 4 separate computers, backed up as I use them... so good point but I think I'm well covered here. | |

I read how good Roboform is great so many times but always thought this was a 199$ script. But it's only 29.95$. I am in shock. Buy. Now. Fernando. |

I use RoboForm free for the few places I visit regularly. All my other passwords are in a file and printed.........WOW! there are a lot. My only problem with RoboForm is that by hacking only one password, my whole list of passwords is now available. In the past I bought and sold used computers. Some had password protected operating systems. A quick google search gave me a password resetting program that I burned to CD, installed in a locked computer and it unlocked it and allowed me to reset the password. I sometimes worry that this could also be the fate of Roboform. I sure hope that they have better password incryption than microsoft. |
