Traditional forms of media and press agencies - need advice

I just got an email from a guy representing a national press agency...

"I think your work would make a great news story for the national newspapers in the UK and overseas also"

Have anyone had experience with this kind of stuff? recently my blog has been getting a lot more attention and interest.

Is it worth working with this guy from the press? Has anyone had experience with this kind of stuff? anything I should know or ask him?

Does traditional medial have a place for growing a site? I've not had a TV in 8 years and don't buy newspapers - in fact, I purposely avoid these forms of media channels for my own reasons.

Please, I would love some advice here.

    Hi HudsonKraft,

as I have posted earlier here: http://www.warriorforum.com/main-int...tribution.html

In my experience Press Release Services can often do a great job for internet marketing, too.

Also if you produce offline buzz, some people will hopefully engage and google up your website. This makes your website appearing as a stronger brand, simply because people are constantly searching for your name, together with your product/service or offer.

Traditional Media still has an really extreme range, It s about getting into it.

If you found this helpful, I appreciate a quick "thanks"

Hello! Even though it might seem old school and dusty, traditional media still has some impact. Think about how you could reach to that segment of people who reads the newspapers instead of reading news online, they still exist here and there. And, any opportunity of promoting yourself is a good opportunity. You could ask the editor more details about how he wants to feature your story, or even better if he wants to do an interview. All that they post there has to be approved by you to not have copyright infringements. Good luck!
