Dear Warriors, I have 12 live articles on EzineArticles in last 14 days. It gives me 1,909 views and ranked very well on Google and Yahoo. now, I want to expand what I did to another article directories such as GoArticles, etc by sending SAME articles I published on EzineArticles. is it good things to be done? or isn't ethical thing (or spamming) to do... thanks, Rob! |

Hi Rob, I think the best thing to do in your situation would be to rewrite the articles that you already have, then submit them to other directories. As I understand, EZA is pretty tough about unique content. So, you want to keep your articles as the only place that they are posted. But, if you re-write those articles with the same ideas, just re-arranged and re-worded, you can submit them to other directories as new content. Plus, it's way better for your rankings in the search engines. The more unique content you can produce, the better. -Noah Whitmore |

I wouldn't advise Sending the same articles to different article directories. To you it might seem nice but to the search engines that's definitely duplicate content.

Hi Rob, What I do is spin my articles to be 75% to 100% different from the original and then submit them to other directories. I do this by using the ArticleLeverage system in submityourarticle.com. I do this to prevent my articles from being branded as duplicate by the search engines. I hope this helps Lian |

I'd suggest paying $5 to someone rewrite your articles. Saves time and adds value to the other websites as well. I've tried need-an-article.com and 99centarticles.com. Although there's a small membership fee and the backend is a lot clumsier, NAA provides good quality at low prices. Best, Diogo |

OK, having done this myself for the past couple of years, here's what I do and the results I get. Ezinearticles doesn't care what happens to your article after you've submitted it to them. So I always submit to them first. That gets you your best result. About 2 weeks later I'll submit the exact same article to half a dozen other article sites. I don't use Goarticles anymore because of their keyword linking in my article, and Buzzle insist on unique content, but apart from that you can find dozens of other article sites. I test and see which are giving me decent results. What happens is I get some extra traffic - 10 to 20% of what EZA was giving me. Worth it in my mind considering it takes me just minutes to submit. There is no duplicate content penalty - the duplicate content penalty is a myth - even Google have said so. If you were penalized for duplicate content then nobody would be able to use articles from EZA or elsewhere on their sites or blogs, and this clearly isn't the case. The only duplicate content penalty is if you use the same content twice on the same site. Now having said all that, original content will get you better results. Always. For me, I'm happy with the residual traffic I get from submitting the same article. Some people prefer to spin, some people prefer to rewrite. The best advice, as always, is to test. Try each method and see which pays off for you. I find that the time I would take rewriting or spinning is better spent writing new articles that I run through the above process, but your results might be different. Bob |
