Youtube Account banned. What should I do about my google account?

Hello. Thanks for reading this. I did something stupid, and because of that my youtube account was permanently banned. It was connected with my google account (adsense, etc). Is it possible to create a whole new google account without the risk of it getting banned, because of being a duplicate account? I would like to continue monetizing youtube videos with adsense. Or should I just create new youtube accounts without adsense, and monetize them differently?

There are no restrictions on duplicate Google accounts.

You can have multiple Google accounts and they can all have a YouTube account. And each YouTube account can have up to 5 channels.

You can have multiple AdWords accounts to access the Keyword tool.

You are only allowed one AdSense account for making money with AdSense ads on your site.

Other than AdSense, most Google services allow multiple accounts.

If your AdSense account was the one they killed you would have to reapply for AdSense and Google is far from forgiving.

If they only killed your YouTube account but not your AdSense I doubt you could associate a new YouTube account with your adsense account.

But if you did something that got your YouTube account banned, there is a good chance they banned AdSense too.

Did you check what Google services and apps you still have access to?

Thank you onSubie. Just checked. adsense is still active. I guess I'm lucky then? If I were to create a second adsense account to connect it with a second youtube account, google could ban both my adsense accounts right? I guess the best course of action would be to monetize future youtube videos differently and not rock the boat regarding my adsense account.

I'm pretty sure you can't have more than one AdSense account.

If I am using one of my non-AdSense accounts and try to access AdSense I get a message saying I already have an AdSense account and I can't have two so please logout and log back in with my AdSense account.

This doesn't happen when I switch to services like YouTube or Adwords Keyword Tool in those cases it just asks me to create another account.

I think monetizing YouTube videos another way would be best. It lowers risk to your AdSense account. I think there are better ways to make money with YouTube than relying on AdSense and traffic anyway.

Spam, basically. Rookie mistake, won't happen again. How risky is it to create a new one, if only one adsense account per person is allowed? I'm sure google has LOTS of experience identifying people.
