What should we expect in 2015 in terms of marketing online?

What traffic source will crush it?

What technique/software will boost our conversion the most?

    I think paid advertising ,social media marketing and list building will be more important in 2015 comparison to 2014.

    I think small businesses will start hitting social media marketing hard. They may not necessarily do it right but I think 2015 will be the year small businesses really started to embrace social media.

    I also think content marketing is going to get too crowded and turn into a race to the bottom. Basically, each post is going to have to be 3k to 4k words to get a lot of attention.

    Obviously, more google algorithm changes but I am not sure what they will change. I can see them trying to turn google itself into more of a knowledge based platform. For example, right now, if I type in "what was the war of 1812", the first thing I see is a text box showing a brief description. Unless I want more detailed info, I don't have to visit any other site. Another example is weather. If I type "[city name] weather", I see the forecast for the city. I don't have to go to any other site.

    Along with The Niche Man, I think there will be more skeptical consumers but I also think there will be a lot more positive consumers. Inbound marketing is exploding. Now that businesses are starting to see that this type of work can actually produce results they are jumping on board left and right.

    2015......

    Largely the same as 2014 except that the SMB market will continue to gather momentum as more and more SMBs realize the importance of, and embrace digital marketing.

    Local "agencies" will sprout up and established ones will thrive.

    2015 is also the year I retire, oh wait that was 2014 and here I am.
