Could we generate Money through Domain Sale?

Hello All,

Just thinking,As you are purchasing Domain and Work hard on your domain ,after years when you are getting High PR and Good Traffic.Could it be better idea to get Money by selling your High Pr Domain?

    Domains don't "have PR". Only pages have page ranks.

    When you see people mistakenly discussing the "PR of a domain", what they're actually referring to is the page rank of the home page of a website that is or was attached to that domain-name.

    These days, with Google's (and so many other people's) attitudes toward page ranks being what they are, it's unlikely indeed that anyone will pay much more for a domain on the basis of the page rank of a website's home page. Especially since that page rank may well not stay the same anyway.

    Selling existing websites/businesses is a whole different ball-game from selling domain-names. The latter is a perfectly viable business, which many members here do profitably and some do for their livings, but it has nothing to do with page ranks.

    You can make a lot of money with a domain name if it has a lot of high PR backlinks to the homepage, it's an older domain and if it's a good keyword domain.
