First Week in 2015 is OVER...so what have you done ?

Yep, we are officially starting the second week of the New Year.

I hope you guys are going full force.

It's always beneficial to keep a running assessment of your business operations.

So entertain me for a second and let me ask you this
... Are you on Track after this first week in what SPECIFIC ACTIONS you stated on Dec. 31st that you were going to do ?

      So far so good for me. You are right. You have to have specific actions and attack those everyday. Otherwise the year gets away very quickly.

      For me some long term and intermediate goals are good, but what really helps me is the daily action list I have. As I complete an item I cross it off of the list. It is great feeling to accomplish things all day long. Plus it helps keep me focused so I do not go off on some tangent and get sidetracked from what I need to be doing.

    I rolled up my sleeves and have already written 60 plus pages of my new vampire novel and have planned a get away cruise for the Spring.

    I've also written 6 new plot outlines for future novels.

    I think a lot of people spent the first week of 2015 fretting about the new set of WSO rules!

    Joking aside, it's been the norm for me to spend the first 2 weeks of the new year updating ALL of my products to keep them relevant. There are even some instances where a product doesn't "survive" this process and I pull it from market to replace it with something else. From this process new and additional products are often derived.

    Any new products will be created and taken to market during the 2nd half of February. I have a lot of "continuity" in my business already but I want more. I'm working on that too.

    Also have a treasure trove of new (or at least untested by me) marketing and traffic methods to test that will EASILY keep me in the office through the first 2 quarters.

    Also, will be forming at least 10 new JV alliances.

    Lastly, I hope to sell one of my businesses this year in persuit of my goal to have the OPTION to retire by the time in 40 (I say "option" because it's believed that guys the likes of me can't "retire").

    That's it! I know it's sort of a "brain dump" but those are what I'm focusing on in the new year.

    After 2 years out of the game, I am back with 3 new brandable software programs built,1 launched.
    New website built on a NON Wordpress platform (a long term goal achieved).

    Business model set in stone and functioning, even managed to make s few dollars as well.

    Its a year of action for me, so far so good!

    All's going well so far.

    Had a big surprise when one of my biggest sites reached the #1 spot for it's main keyword. This is the biggest keyword I've ever gone after, with over half a million searches per month.

    My goal for this year was to get my first 10k month with Adsense, and it looks like it might be sooner than I thought with this site suddenly ranking well.

          Beta testing my new writers platform.

          Created a plan to make my PBN sites more real.

          Standard tasks as always

          Bought a $7 WSO guide how to make $1k/day, learned a few small things from it that will come in handy.

          Investigated if PPC is doable for affiliate sites and yes it is under certain circumstances.

          Set some priorities in expanding and decide to mainly stick to my core SEO service as that's where the majority of the money comes from, which means investing in more domains so I just bought another batch of 40 high PR domains to fill the gaps.

    I was going crazy over it today too, the week went fast.

    What motivates me in the morning and throughout the day is David De'Angelos "On Being A Man" Development course. I'm gonna hit it big this year. Plus i'm gonna be 25 this year, so I gotta make my time worth it.

      (did that on Thursday; lost connectivity Thursday morning so spent 4 hours working at Starbucks. Unfortunately, the huge cold kinda sorta did me in so I was on bedrest all of yesterday but these things happen).

      Gave my $197 bootcamp on Monetizing Nearly Free Bootcamp as well on 1/6/15. One of my best classes to date.

      Currently working on the solution Make Money While Hating The World (on Wednesday I utterly despised anything and everything and decided to channel that anger to making money instead. That's why I released the nearly free goodie above. It's my case study).

        I've done a bit of planning but other than that - I've been celebrating nonstop since right before Christmas.

        We've had so much good news in my family since Christmas - it's been amazing. Also both son and daughter-in-law were taking time off until this week so it's been family time all the time.

        So much good news here I'm convinced 2015 will be a banner year online and offline. Next week everyone in the house goes back to the regular work/school schedules so I guess I'll have to quit goofing off. It's been fun, though.

    I recently bought another domain and move all of my content to the new site for my sports website. I also have upload more Youtube videos in which I predict the NFL and College Football playoffs. I am shocked by the results I am getting from Youtube. Last but not least I have consitstently promoted my site to my email subscirbers.

    Huge progress in my first project!
    Loaded my autoresponder with emails to start growing my list, set up my landing page and optin form, created some top content for my site and started growing syndication relationships. And a nice 15 pages free report for my visitors!
    Seems like the year could not have started off better! Especially taking into account how busy I am these days.

    Now I'll just keep growing my site content, keep growing my email chain with content and products, and work on the promotion of my site through syndication and social media.
