I would first see if you can drive some traffic yourself. When you do this it give you a good perspective on what it takes and will increase your education. Once you are more familiar with the method you can then know what these businesses are talking about when they offer you their services. That way you can know if you are getting the most value out of it.

It depends on how many followers you have on Facebook and how many of them are being shown your ads. It also depends on what your ad says and what you are offering people in exchange for them clicking on your ad.

You can test things under your control, like what audience you are showing your ad to, the copy on your ad, the image on your ad and the landing page attached to your ad.

it is often easier to get a bigger response by setting up a campaign that directs people to like your page, and then concentrating your link to website campaign to your own followers on Facebook.

If you don't have much of a budget, save it.

Is there a FREE Marketing Method that has already worked for you?

If so, expand in this one area.

Forget about finding the 'shinier' magical areas without money. Find a free method (1) and master it! This is what makes a marketer a successful one.

  • What is the purpose of attracting visits to your site? Are you looking to sell a product? Build ad revenue? Are you simply building sites to sell later on? Where do you want the traffic to come from?

Kinda need to know this information before giving an opinion on the direction you should head, since you need to determine how much the quality of visitors need to be.

Make sure your sites are specifically targeted to like-minded audiences. You want everyone that sees your ads and offers to be wanting/needing exactly what you can offer. The more exact and specific you are, the more your offers will appeal to everyone in your niche.

Most new marketers wrongfully believe that the wider their audience is, the better it is because they will have more potential prospects. That's bad thinking because in reality, it means you're advertising to many more people who have no interest in you or your business so you end up wasting time and money in casting a "wide" net.

Once you have a narrow focus, then a great way to increase your traffic is to advertise to the audiences of others in your niche. So do mailings to targeted email lists, advertise on industry web sites, ad swaps with others in the niche, etc. The point is . . . go where there's already an audience of prospects gathered in the niche.

      Good luck to you,

      Steve

You have a choice, you can put in a lot of work by writing content , getting links and doing all the usual things to get free traffic it might work. But no traffic is ever truly free.. even if you do it all yourself the time you spent cost you something.

Or you can take your budget and use it.

With some niches you can still get 1-2 c clicks on facebook all day long.. with most other by optimizing you can get under 10c and frequently below 6c.

With paid traffic you'll have visitors almost immediatly and if things aren't converting you've just saved yourself months of work.

You can then tweak things and try again..

I spent years trying to get free traffic .. since moving to paid traffic my business has gone from strength to strength

first thing i'd tell you to do is to identify who in your market already has the traffic that you want and simply jump in front of it.

And try working out a jv with them. Can you do some sort of a partnership? Can you pay them to run a banner on their site? can you give them a few bucks to do a solo ad?

I would build up a following on social media. I've been adding content almost daily and sharing it with all of them anytime I add a new post or video. I'm starting to get some results & people are sharing my stuff with others & using them in their own blogs. This is a great way to reach people & was reading an article earlier that Google considers shares on social networks to be the most important way of building backlinks

You should focus on one site to drive traffic to. This will alleviate one problem. Build that site up, make it profitable, then automate it. Then if you want to launch another site, do so and repeat. But don't try to juggle 2 sites and *split* your investment funds into 2 ideas. Dominate. Take 1 site and make it work first.

The best way to generate traffic is from Yahoo Ads or Google Adwords, make sure you know your target. Anyway, what's the point of getting 1,000 visitors if you can't convert any single sale.
