Trying to figure out what aspect of IM to commit to - Programs/Mentor Recommendations Wanted!

How's it going guys. I've tried my hand in various aspects of Internet Marketing, with my biggest push at CPA using POF. However, my leads kept getting scrubbed and there was no room for scalability, so I decided to focus on school and graduating with a great GPA. I was doing 5-10$ a day but just couldn't scale, and then the campaign would die in a few days.

Anyway, there are SO many aspects of IM - from organic SEO blogging, to paid traffic, to affiliate marketing, to product creation and on and on.

My question is, what would be the best path to embark on for the extended future. I had an idea that I could use paid traffic to build a list fairly quickly (I think?), and then boom email marketing and that's cash right there.

Anyway, my two questions are:

1. Which aspect of IM should I pursue? CPA seems great until you realize how many little issues there are like scrubbed leads, offers being taken down out of nowhere, and what not.

2. Are there ANY legitimate programs or mentors that could help me along my journey. If it's a coach, it would be great if it's a consultant as in an hourly basis, because I know legitimate coaches probably charge thousands in total - I could pay that by the hour broken up.

ALSO: I know that all the information is here on the Warrior Forum. The thing is, theres SO SO much conflicting information, and it's very scattered. My mind tends to operate better in linear form, so that's why I'm seeking a program or mentor, where there is some structure. Because I know there will be some replies saying I don't need anything except the Warrior Forum, and I do understand that point but wanted to clarify why I'm seeking a program/mentor.

Honestly, niche marketing and then creating a list in that niche have worked forever and will work forever. Also, niche marketing with membership sites has worked forever and will work forever. You must own all content or have the rights to it to be ultra successful.

Once you create a niche site that makes you certain amount per month, move on and create another, and then another, and then another. I think you should focus on that if all else has failed.

The biggest thing I can think of is to choose a market and niche within that market to sell to. Most of the things you mentioned in your post, like SEO and blogging are ways to market something you have chosen, they are not products or services within themselves unless you are a person who teaches about SEO or blogging.

Its not particularly difficult to select a market niche, but it seem s many people get hung up in the MMO area, and decide they only want to market tips and tricks products to newbies.

Doesn't mean that's what you are interested in doing, just that, there are many other market niches around where people buy lots of things.

Thanks. Are there any good programs or mentors that give an outline on the whole product creation/launch process?

    Hi,

You need a COACH/MENTOR who will take you all the way.

That's why so many get OVERLOADED with information.

They have 10 - 20 mentors (or should we say 10 - 20 emails from different
marketers) telling them to do 100 different things every single day.

I mean even a computer would struggle getting that amount of info into
a bite sized do this do that way or method that can be applied every single day
and will get results when applied consistently.

You need to find someone who can cover all bases for you.

That way you'll never have any pieces of the puzzle missing.

If money is an issue then maybe you just have to try and come up with a
plan to get that investment first then look at joining their coaching program.

Otherwise buying the next WSO or any other product will only give you
more information on top of all the other smaller bits you've picked up along
    the way.

YES......ADDING EVEN more confusion, more over load....

    And NO RESULTS.

And yes most people have already been down this road too.

Now it's up to you to take control and take that next VITAL step that
could determine a whole new future for you this year.

    Good luck.

Yeah, that's exactly right Gavin and what I've been through by searching various forums and reading SO much.

The next question would be, can you recommend a mentor/coaching program?
