How to make affiliates or JV mail for you

Hi, I launched a product in the past but it wasn't successful. The reason is, my affiliates don't even mail for me. Can you share with me tips to make affiliates send traffic to product site?

Super affiliates are inundated with "promote my offer" requests every day, chasing them down and flooding their inboxes with requests doesn't work anymore.

I like to let the numbers do the work. If your offer converts and EPCs are high, people will suddenly "make time" to promote. That's just how things work. Similar concept to attracting investors, numbers are king.

    Sigh.

You do not MAKE affiliates mail for you.

You make it attractive FOR affiliates to mail for you.

You can do this by offering 100% across the funnel and having that actually convert (if you have zero relationship with anyone).

You can do this by proactively networking here and on the FB WSO groups like

    https://www.facebook.com/groups/jvfocus

    https://www.facebook.com/groups/wsolaunchandjvnetwork/

    https://www.facebook.com/groups/wsolaunchcode/

and become a colleague. Friends tend to promote friends.

    etc.etc.etc.etc.

    Hope that helps!

      Thank you, Barb.

Whenever I read about forcing people to do things or words of that nature, my mind wanders back to the early part of the century when since phrasing was de rigeur. I think its better now.

    For the serious, pro-affiliates, payment reliability is going to be a huge issue: many will be willing to look only if it's through some network like ClickBank where our commission payments are guaranteed: the most serious affiliates are the ones unwilling to be dependent on a vendor they don't know, for their payment (nothing personal at all, needless to say: it's just a problem we "just don't need" and can so easily avoid);

What matters is having everything tweaked, tested and proven to convert targeted traffic before looking for affiliates. Explained in more detail here (and these links may help you, also): Have an affiliate product - how to find affiliate marketers in my niche?

Someone I know said: 100% commission front end.

The "catch" with that approach is the affiliates attracted primarily by that tend to be far from the ones best equipped to make the most sales. In general 95%+ of the sales are produced by 5% or fewer of the affiliates, and they're not the ones attracted primarily by "100% commission front end".

That's often more of a way to have "as many affiliates as possible" rather than "as many sales as possible". They're typically two very different things.
