Help with sales funnel?

I've developed a system for building a niche blog empire over the course of 3 years and 450 sites that I'm trying to turn into a course. I'm falling short on the actual sales funnel and how to price the program, or if I should just give it away free and collect on affiliate sales. I'm clueless as far as marketing goes. MMO I've got.

My thought process is to create an eBook outlining the system I use to build the empire to use as a lead magnet, and then teach them step by step HOW to build the empire once they buy the program, offering a monthly community w/ webinars and new content, and a high end personalized coaching program.

So the funnel would be LP > Magnet > Program > Community > Coaching

What would my OTO, upsell and downsells be? That's where I'm lost. Do I even need them with my own program?

As far as pricing goes, I'm considering $197 (+$115 for affiliate sales) for the course, with a $47 per month ongoing membership for personalized support, new content, webinars, etc, and a much higher end $1,000 per month for 6 months program.

The other option would be to give the course away for free, banking around $115 from affiliate sales and then charging a lower monthly fee, such as $27 per month, in order to allow more people to enter into the funnel.

TL;DR: In short, could someone help me come up with a sample sales funnel, or guide me in the right direction to finding the education I need.

Which is a better pricing structure, $197 up front w/ affiliate sales, then $47 per month, with a high end package, or offering the course for free w/ affiliate sales in it, and charging a lower $27 per month for ongoing content.

Any advice is greatly appreciated. I'm stoked but keep running into brick walls that I can't seem to bash my head through.

As far as I am concerned the core program is really your OTO and the monthly new content is the up-sell and the high end coaching is the high ticket up-sell.

So I am confused why you are lost.

Also yeah I would add a downsell to all the products/programs in the sales funnel so you can get some extra sells from leaving visitors. Just have them at a decreased price.

Sounds like I over complicated it and confused myself. I'd assumed an OTO had to be $7 or $9 and the confusion led from there.

I guess where I'm still confused is that I was told to use a small $7 OTO to help offset the lead gen costs of the campaigns. I can't think of something that fits the bill, or if I even need one.

Is that not the right way to go about something like this? Instead just going Magnet > Course > Membership > Coaching ?

    Thanks for the response, btw.

      My personal funnel goes like:

      Free offer> $10 [low-cost OTO]> $47 Core offer< $97 upsell> $997 high ticket upsell

What I can tell you is my income QUADRUPLED when I put in the $10 OTO VS not having it at all.

What is so special about it, is yeah it offsets ad costs but more importantly creates buyers.

It is a low cost no-risk offer that gets people more comfortable with you by giving them a chance to see your paid content with a low risk offer.

Someone is x8 to x10 more likely to purchase from you again [at a higher price] if they have purchased something from you at all even if your product costs $1...

I promise you, you can find a great $10 or cheaper product to sell to them and convert them into buyers.

To give you an example...my $47 CORE PRODUCT was a 30-day traffic game plan
my $10 OTO was how to get traffic via media buys.

      best, Connor.

Here is where I am getting hung up, and I am not trying to bust your bubble but let's think about this realistically from the mind of a prospect. First off you have said that you are clueless about marketing.

First thing that stands out to me is this: It takes convincing to get someone to buy something that costs $197.00.

When I think about the idea of doing blogs for money I think "that's work dude, I will have to blog everyday." Maybe that's not the truth, mind you, that's just an objection that you will have to over come.

Second thing, you mentioned blogging AND 450 sites. Now my WORK radar is definitely flashing, and you know what happens after that, my heavily distracted brain kicks in and makes a completely 5 second from the hip assumption that your program is going to be too much to do and too complicated and too high maintenance for me to mess with.

If you tack on that $197 buy now button you got me falling back man.

So here is the first thing to me.

Do you have a dedicated list or group of people that sees you as an authority on blogging? If not, it's going to be hard man.

I think if it was me I would compartmentalize some of the lessons and start trying to build your authority in this subject by publishing, either a newsletter, or youtube videos that leverage traffic back to a blog...something to start building that core group of people that see you as an authority on the subject of blogging and making money blogging.

Without it, you are going to have trouble attracting affiliates, have trouble selling a high ticket product, and just generally have hard going.

That's just my opinion. Good luck in ALL your ventures man.

That is a pretty solid funnel you got lined up. If you really want to go with an OTO before the course I would break off a chunk of the main product. Give them one actionable part of the process that will not only convert them from a subscriber to a buyer but also get them more interested in the full program. Once they learn a piece of it they will want more. As far as the membership I cant tell if that is a good price. I wanted to say I liked your idea of dropping the price but if you are going to be giving personalized support that could be worth more than even the $47 price tag.

Breaking off a chunk of the main product is the piece I was missing, I think. I still wasn't sure what I would do for a cheaper offer, but using a piece of the main product as a way to entice them sounds good.

So in this case my funnel would look like:

Free: How I Tanked And Rebuilt A $15,000/Month Niche Blog Empire
    - The overall business model, why it's so successful, past results, etc.

$10 OTO: How To Make Money From ANY "Failed" Niche Blog
    - The strategy I use to make money from blogs that didn't give me a positive return.

$97 Core: How To Build A Niche Blog Empire The RIGHT Way

$47/month Upsell: 1 hour coaching call, support forum, webinars, podcasts, community, etc.

I feel like the free offer explains my story, how I literally tanked a $15k/mo business, rebuilt and streamlined it, and the mindset needed to keep the machine moving and scaling up, even if my time is limited.

I think the OTO using the section of the course teaching students what to do with blogs that barely cover their hosting instead of letting them rot. It's actionable, as in they can take failed sites and begin making money with them in a few days.

The pricing part still has me stumped, but ya'll gave me a missing piece of the puzzle, so I can keep moving forward with the content, at least.

I'm going to spend some time thinking about how I can build a personal blog to get my name out there. I've been told to do it years ago, and numerous times since, but never saw a need until now.

Any other advice is more than appreciated!
