Is there a Fitness version of Warrior Forum?

Hi,

I'm imagining a Warrior Forum in the Health and Fitness area, one in which noobs came to buy shiny new objects every other day relating to health and fitness and in which product makers sold them the SNO's through the site's payment thingy like Warrior Payments. Does it exist, and if not maybe Freelancer should set one up.

Thanks in advance for information on this!!!!

best,

Boyd

Why don't you create one yourself! ? nice idea, although the only secret to getting fit is to eat healthy and do exercise. That's it. People are so lazy trying to find loopholes to beat basic biology..

      Hi,

You're so right. I just summarized the book The Old Chocolate Diet, and its teaching can be expressed as:

"You should eat balanced meals (consisting of your favorite foods) when you feel physically hungry and stop eating when you’re full. And nothing, absolutely nothing, passes your lips but water between meals. You don’t eat when you don’t feel physically hungry. And when you do feel physically hungry you must eat, not on a schedule, but when you feel physically hungry."

It's a very simple diet without counting calories or glycemic indexes or anything. You listen to your body. When it says I'm hungry, you eat. When you feel the food in your stomach, you stop eating. You eat the same way you put gasoline in your car. When the car needs gas, you put some in. When the tank is full you turn off the gas pump.

But it's almost impossible to follow since cars don't get addicted to gasoline, while people do get addicted to Eating. Only high acheivment type people can eat healthy and do exercise, as you observe.

It sounds incredibly inconvenient, almost to the point of total impracticability?! A hermit might manage it, perhaps. Has its author genuinely not heard of any of the social/interactive aspects of eating in the modern world, and the desirability - for countless reasons - of having "mealtimes", and so on?!

I agree with you. The author, Diana Artene, defines physical hunger as a hollow feeling near your sternum, and she said you should eat within an hour of feeling that, so there is some leeway. Additionally, she makes obvious suggestions like having some of your restaurant food boxed up as a takehome.

Can people write their own Bodybuilding Special Offers and sell them? I looked at the site and the answer isn't immediately obvious.

They want to keep the selling to themselves, eh? Well, would WSOs relating to fitness be sellable at the Warrior Forum? I've got the dumbz today so I know I'm not thinking it through.

    Bodybuilding.com

My advice to you is to avoid the Misc section, unless you have thick skin.
