I've been reading that alot lately, what is the term flipping used to describe? I simply don't get what it means to flip a blog or a site.

Take something shabby, fix it up and
sell it for a profit. That's the basic
    idea.

Finding under performing but ranked websites, buy them at a discount, monetize and promote them, increasing their value, then sell them at a profit.

        Best!

Flipping websites can be profitable. But you can "flip" many things.

I would consider flipping anything to do with buying low and selling high.

At the end of the day, you are really just flipping your money.

Also, flipping houses can be very profitable. Especially right now.

Good luck with that, I guess if you really know your stuff...

But Real Estate SUCKS right now.

But yes, you can flip software, partially built businesses as well as web sites.

            Best!

Because Real Estate sucks right now, thats why you can make so much money.

Right now one of my associates coaching students sold a home in 1 day and profited 200k. Foreclosures are a wonderful thing- And now is the time to do real estate and make big money.

I guess if your in the right market...

The problem is not finding properties or even people who want to buy, but people who can get the loan.

Aside from very few, many, MANY, more are loosing big in Real Estate right now.

The U.S. government, ie taxpayers own half of all U.S. mortgages as of today, NOT a good sign.

                Best!

Yes it always depends where, but you can pick up cheap foreclosures all around the nation.

And you don't need a bank to get a loan- plenty of private lenders want to give you money fast- so money is NOT an issue- if you know where to go.

Plus they just picked up a 400k (fair market value) house for 50k and only put down $2,500- sold same day for around 250k. Its almost too simple when you know what your doing.

$2,500 investment with 200k profit- thats what I call a "flip"

And this was only residential- commercial is where the real money is.

And you're right, many more people are losing in RE than winning, but that can be said for "IM" as well. Their are more failures than successes- and thats just life.

Millionaires and billionaires will be made over the coming years from this current market. The question is, who?

Yes it is. The idea of flipping is buying something for a low price and sell it at a higher price for a profit.
