Newbies need to get this ASAP !!

Tonight, I was on another Thread and it made me remember how important this Concept was; at least for me.

Some may disagree

But for me getting that first taste of Success , even if it is just making $10 profit for the month , was crucial in gaining mental Traction and Momentum.

There is just something magical when you see those first few bucks and prove to yourself that this is doable and you can build on it !

Sure, you need to develop a Plan and not jump into things too fast.

But you should also make a point to get on that proverbial ' Scoreboard'
...and the sooner the better

      Like you today I have seen just too may newbies in a few threads which suggested that they were looking for fast cash and just asking around how to do it. I am sure their initial success may be short lived if this is their route to making money online since they don't have a plan, and not having the right mindset to be able to find consistent success online.

    Totally agree with you here! That first sale is the biggest confidence and mindset booster.

    But for me, what is even more of a confidence booster is when you talk to someone on the phone about how you can help them in their business AND as a result they decide to join your team!

    I tend to agree. Even though a lot of this stuff makes sense in theory, I don't think it hits a lot of people that it's real and how life-changing it could potentially be until they make their first sale and get their first payment. That's the way it was for me.

    The repeating of the monthly process is a great point. One off sales here and there along the way make it easy to give up and walk away. Seeing a extra $10 bucks a month come in shows you are making some sort of progress along the way.
    A monthly stream of income becomes the bread and butter of a business. The one off deals that are not consistent, only cost more time and money in the long run.

    So true, I remember when I saw my first $1.43 on adsense back in 2009 it really gave me hope and I kept going. And even today, I've never worked a 9 to 5 job in my life Thnx to the internet. So don't give up guys & girls, stay persistence and one day it will happen for you.

    I agree, this is a very important concept for all newbies in Internet marketing. Once you see your first paycheck, you will crave that sensibility of accomplishment from then on. Use this to drive you deeper into success, and don't forget what it feels like to achieve financial success (even if it is $10). You just need to never forget how you earned that small reward in the first place, why? Because you need to build on it! Optimize, improve, and scale so that you can turn that $10 into $37, then maybe one day into 142 commissions at $47 (the big leagues).

    I came into this industry in 2005. And started making a little money here and there. But the reason that I made a 'little' money here and there was because of my poor mindset.

    I wanted to make thousands per week & was ignorance on fire!

    I screwed around for almost 2 years and finally found:

    1- A Powerful Opportunity

    2- A Good Mentor

    3- How to Write Good 'Ad Copy'

    And then went on to make my first 'profitable' sale from one person. The sale was for $1,495 that resulted with me putting $1K into my pocket.

    It really starts feeling like a 'real' business when you make your first thousand bucks online from Cold Market Sales.

    Mindset is very important and will determine how much a person can make. Two people can be doing the very same things but getting results that are worlds apart.

    yeah so true...first it started with $10 a month then it came to $10 a day...and so on.... This gives an extra boost to will power to sustain..when things go tough...and if you are not getting the results you actually wish you should have....

    Newbie focus too much on wanting to make thousands per day. I see countless threads in this forum asking for ways to make $1000 per day.

    Focus on getting your first $10. Then scale up.
