How much should I expect to pay for a Logo...DesignOutpost

I need to create a really good looking company logo for my new site. I learned from Mike Filsaime about designoutpost.com.

Basically, you can post your project on there with an amount you are willing to pay for a logo (or whatever graphic you want) designed. Then, bunch of designers design your logo and post it on there. you go back and pick on your like and pay for the service to that one designer.

I think that is a great idea because you have the ability to choose which logo you like the best. Here are my questions:

How much should I expect to pay for a logo?

have you ever used the site? What was your experience?

Hi Peter,

A good quality High Resolution logo that you can use for your print media can cost anywhere between $150-$400. It all depends on your subject and the kind of impact you want to create.

DesignOutpost is a good site if you have the time to monitor & communicate with the designers constantly. ALso read the Guide for Clients before you post your project.

Prices for logos/graphics fluctuate so much depending on who you're talking to, it's hard to nail down an "average price".

Last time I looked, there were a lot of great options for getting Logos created just by googling "corporate Logos" and checking out the first page of results.

For instance, right off the bat, these samples for $100 looks impressive:

You can even experiment with http://www.gotlogos.com for $25 a pop... I'd rather pick someone with a flatrate offer over bothering with a bidding process, but that's just me.
