Hey Warriors,

I'm starting a free training program at my free membership site to teach members the basics of building their own websites or starting their own social group.

The idea is going to be for my members to build the site/social network to gain traffic with like minded people they can then promote their biz ops to.

The first thing I'm touching on of course is choosing their niche or site concept.

I discouraging them from trying to complete with the marketing categories or even their specific business programs.

The point will be to build a site or group about something they are interested in like a hobby or something they have some level of expertise in.

I'm going to be suggesting they stay away from too broad of a keyword focused category since the competition would way too high.

Of course I'm going to suggest keyword demand and competition research, and several other things.

Does any here have any other suggestions I may not have thought of?

I'd appreciate any input you other warriors could give.

Thanks,
Zac

Are these Web Sites for interest/hobby or to make money?

The best option is to have an interest in a subject area that also has a market. Not always easy. Research is the key whether it is keyword research, Search Engine or checking online market places such as Clickbank.

Once a subject is chosen and market confirmed why not find members/customers in offline advertising as well. Successful entrepreneurs such as Andrew Reynolds and Tim Lowe have done this very well.
