Hi all,

Wondering if there is any niche relating to Hip-Hop and youth culture.

Of course, but those are markets and in order to discover niches within those markets you need to do your research.

When you find a common problem, a common desire, or something that appeals to a closely-knit group within that market . . . then you will have an opportunity to create a niche and sell something from it.

Any homogeneous group of people (that have common interests/needs) can become an audience for your targeted and profitable marketing if they are passionate about the subject and are willing to spend money on it at the same time.

There is a niche for everything you can imagine. Hip Hop as well.

There are several ideas that come to my mind when I think of a way to make a living in this Niche or any other music genre niche:

Hip Hop YouTube channel - why not creating the next Hip Hop Vevo? (You should consider music licences and research how you can buy the rights for the songs you are publishing).

Hip Hop Blog - Like there are tons of internet marketing blogs, why not creating a Hip Hop blog around your lifestyle? And monetizing it with ads or affiliate offers, or iTunes music sales?

Hip Hop For DJ's Course - If you are a dj, why not creating a report or a course on how to become a popular dj in the hip hop genre or something like this?

There are many, many possibilities to profit from the Music Niche and you just need to do your homework and research it deeply.

Quick advice: If Hip Hop is your hobby, then go after it, you will have a lot better chances of succeeding then if you start in another niche that you just think may be more profitable.

WSHH gets tons of traffic and, if you know how to play your cards right, is a great source of traffic itself.

My question is, what can you do with WSHH? They're not dating or weight-loss website. I don't know if they have affiliate program through their site.

Yes, there's tons. I've personally worked in over 10 niches that deal with hip hop. Including ...

        • Hip hop accessories!
        • Beats!
        • Hip hop posters!
        • Hip hop jewelry!
        • How to books (Rhyming dictionary, hip-hop dictionary, how to rap, etc.).
        • Throw-back Memorabilia!
        • Ringtones!
        • Apps!
        • Rap Celebrity gossip and beef blogs. (Monetized)!
There's still many untapped gaps in this market. Why? Because ...
        • Many who know marketing don't know hip hop.
        and
        • Many who know hip hop don't know marketing.
Equals = Untapped Niche Profit Opportunities!

Add that with the rapid "Global growth". (i.e, they buy hip hop accessories even in the poorest African countries now, it follows the music and the culture).

They buy it in China, Cuba and even North Korea. I just saw a CBS News story where they showed Russian troops rapping in Russian, Palestinian hip hop stars and even Egyptian teens quoting Jay Z and Kanye West. Many didn't speak fluent english, but they knew the rap lyrics of Lil' Wayne and Snoop Dogg.

Who would have thought it? Most business experts didn’t. The good news? There’s still no end in sight. But now you have to be a lot smarter than when I first approached it 10 years ago.

I've done extensive research on this market. PM me if you'd like to know more.

... And when they're standing in line, waiting for a bus, train or plane, riding in the car (even sometimes while driving), bored on a date and dozens (and growing) of other places. Haven't you noticed?
