This is a "Name Your Price" limited-time offer!

Hey All,

I come across the "Name Your Price" occasionally. I've always wondered if it would be worth testing.

I was just doing some PPC research and I found a fairly large company doing PPC straight to a "Name Your Price" page.

Has anyone tested or is using this?

What do you think would be a visitor's thoughts?

I look forward to your opinions.

Brent

There are several companies that promote digital products in this way, they have an average price.

If you beat the average, you get a bonus, they also list the top prices paid for the bundle or course ware.

So if you are really cash poor you can still get a good deal and if you can afford to pay more you can do that too, not too sure about the long term business model.

I expect that there are other services and offers involved, upgrades, ect, so you could easily apply that to the Internet Marketing product world, except it might not be as profitable as a normal sales campaign.

I think it's a solid business model - I first saw Gizmodo bundle a few apps together for a "pay what you can" deal a few years ago... Definitely not new

I've been doing some research, and Gumroad claims that it increases revenue by 20%.

Gumroad also has a $.0 price and free options to build your list.

I think it's definitely worth testing.
