What ways do you bring traffic to your site?

for good traffic coming to your site is that your content is unique one and submit your site to the directories like hub pages. Article submission also generates good traffic. Also u need to update your site regularly

Not many, of course, my primary focus is ebay marketing, so in a way (because of ebay fees), I'm paying for traffic (much like pay per click). this can get just as expensive if your not careful and if you don't know what your doing.

I also started some affiliate marketing on the side while my ebay business works for me on the forefront.

Because of my prior business in network marketing, I know what most marketing techniques are worth my time and which ones aren't

articles = pretty good (depending on where you post them)

blogs = fantastic with good promotion

Seems like a lot, but really, I only focus on getting one thing done at a time

I agree that Ebay can get expensive, but also that there are ways to keep the costs managable. For me it works as an additional marketing outlet.

there are so many ways to drive traffic to your site. In my opinion the most important thing to keep in mind is being the right niche and targetng the right keywords. i have had sites that out the door were getting 200 uniques a day. with only 15 or 20 links. The right keyword niches + an aged domain + good content and an optimized site = success. Links are the fuel that keep that success going.

Videos are not that difficult to create. You can upload them to Youtube and promote them to get everlasting traffic.

For affiliate offers: PPC. I always use PPC to test an affiliate offer before doing anything else. It's easy and can be done cheaply, if done corectly (I use both Adwords, MSN and Yahoo to test)

For blog traffic: Article marketing and Twitter/Squidoo/Hubpages works the best for me

most of my marketing effort is to get my pages ranked at higher position in google/yahoo for as many keywords as can.

social networks, twitter, facebook, myspace, forum, blog commenting, etc. are very good ways of getting traffic but cannot beat organic traffic because of high ranking in search engines.

I love to use facebook for my IM. Its the best way to do such thing. Moreover I also use article marketing to do the same thing. Both are good in doing marketing.

I think you mean you are getting links from those sites. I dont think it helps your site ranking to have outgoing links. Correct me if I am wrong.

Don't be afraid of PPC! Just use it wisely. You can get lots of info here and other places, but the real way to learn is by doing. There are freebies all over the place for google, yahoo, etc. Get the credits and use them to learn. I have heard of a $250 credit out there, but all I got was a little $50 one. Keep in mind you can limit your daily expenditure and you can set it up so it only uses the money you put in the account. Yes money can go fast if you are not careful. You can also have fantastic results for little or no money, but totally be reaching the wrong audience. I have always said that any traffic is good traffic, but all traffic may not be good traffic if you are paying for it! Just research and jump in! You can figure out how to set it up to be affordable to you.

Well answering questions is not a big deal - just create an account and go. I am not the one to ask about anything else as I just got suspended! I have no reason why as I cant seem to get that secret out of them. I am going to post a question here to see if anyone can shed some light. Also keep in mind if you get suspended, all your answers are removed. Even brilliant ones like all of mine...

Ok I'm coming back here with egg on my face. I have defended and promoted the viral marketing site that works kinda like MLM. Well I'm not going to say I'm dropping out because I still believe that any traffic from it is good, but it is out of my sig. It just has not taken off like I expected. Kind of like MLM, your success depends on the downline. At least with MLM you know who your downline is so you can help them out.

Oh well all you people that said it was worthless...I guess you are being proven right.
