Is it good to drip feed your content for a non-subscription based membership?

Or is it better to have all your content available as soon as membership begin?

If drip feed is the way to go, should it reach the 60 day limit for refunds?

I would drip feed as it is more easily digestible for members.
Also it makes upsells more natural at certain points of drip feed.

  • I say using the drip-feed route as this takes away a heavy amount of work from what you have to do in order to release new content each month.

And you also have to think about the fact that some people will join your site in month 5 of your campaign, and if it's not drop-feed - they'll get all of that content at once - and it defeats the purpose of paying monthly.

And if you're going to do the 60 day refund deliver so much value in that first 60 days that they feel required to continue their membership!

    Hope that helps,
    Michael

I'd add a chunk of content initially to have a full looking site to begin with, and then i'd start drip feeding content thereafter...

I'd always say drip feed too. That's the feedback I've had from 'most' customers. When they have immediate access to everything they immediately only want to dive into what they think is going to get them results without having the mechanisms in place to get the most out of whatever they are doing. It's like they want to jump in the car and drive without having the fuel. I agree with Queen Melanie here in saying that there should be a good proportion of info available from the point of joining that they can navigate their way through either to give them grounding or foundation training with the rest following every week or month depending on how you set it up.

If its non-subscription based, and you are only asking for a one off payment, it doesn't really make any difference in terms of usability.

Some people are going to quit and refund just before the 60 days are up, no matter what.
