Hi guys can anybody help me , I`ve just bought a new domain name from godaddy because i want to start to market a new product so i would like to forward the new domain name to my old blog which i`ve never really had much traffic to,
So i went to godaddy and set the nameservers of my new domain name to go to my old blog, then went to Cpanel then to addon domain added my new domain but now what ??? i`m not sure what to do next can anybody help me ?? Did i miss something on Cpanel because i only added my new domain the rest was auto added and i just typed in a new password but there is something else at the bottem about redirecting. Anyway what do i do next what can i expect just to type in the new domain name and my blog comes up ???? Please help ..Jim |

Not quite yet. You would have to copy or move all the WP files from the public_html folder into the add domain's folder.
Are you going to be using the other domain anymore? Is it an add-on domain too? John |

You have to copy all the files to your new domain, once you make sure you have copy everything. Go back to your domain name server and edit it.
Once everything is setup, remember to do a redirect back to your new domain name. |

Do you want to redirect the traffic from the domain to the old blog or do you want to install the old blog on the new domain? If you want to install the old blog on the new domain, here's some basic instructions I have for my customers.
