My 500th Post - FREE Wordpress Custom Theme for 5 Warriors - 1 Theme left to go!

This is my 500th post to the Warrior Forum and I just wanted to say firstly how thankful I am to the countless warriors who have helped me since I joined whether they knew it or not. You are an exceptional bunch of people and I am extremely proud to be a member of your community.

So in keeping with Warrior Tradition I would like to give something back as part of my 500th post and sorry if this post is a bit long but that is normal for me, so let's say that's "Traditional Sue" shall we

Here we go, for the first 5 members to respond in this thread (got to be in the thread, not pm) I will make you your own custom Wordpress Theme.

Here is just one example of some of my work:

How this will work..

You can come on the thread and celebrate this great forum with me and/or you can post to the thread letting me know you would like a theme.

I will then work with the first five warriors to respond telling me you want a theme. I have a few commitments over the next few weeks but I am pretty sure I can fit in at least one per week (probably more but lets err on the side of caution here LOL).

I will work with you in the order that you post and I will pm you to let you know if you are in the "five" and to set things up.

One very tiny catch.. yep there is one.. I will most likely want to feature a snap shot of the site using the theme in my portfolio. That's it, no other catch. Of course if you are very happy with your theme and ONLY if you feel like it, you can do me a testimonial but let me stress here, it is NOT required.

Once again, thanks for all the help.. right finishing now before I go getting all mushy on ya..

    Does the theme have to be for myself? I'd love to run a contest on my blog where the winner would get a custom theme. If you'd be open to that, I'll take one, er, I'll take one on behalf of the future winner, that is.

    I have seen your work in the websites for sale. They look great. I would like for you to do one for me if they are not already spoken for.

      Thanks Korey, nice of you to say. However, two things, I have not got anything on the Websites for sale unless I am going totally senile and don't remember doing it.. possible LOL

    I tried to check out your site, but I get the error "Error establishing a database connection".

      Well thank you very much for the kind congrats!

      You had me worried there with the error report, I just tried from the link in the original post and it worked ok for me, that is a site I did for a local client of mine, so I hope it works for others as well, is anyone else getting that error? This is the link again..

      You deserve all the accolades you get. You are always positive and upbeat and really contribute to this forum.

      I do not want a free theme. Now I know you do themes I will keep you in mind next time I need one

      Are you still a Donny Osmond fan?

        You know I have a wee soft spot for you Ken because you live in my Birth Town (for others reading this, I now live in Wales but I was born in Bracknell).

        And yes I am still a D Fan but have not had any time for him in the last two years or so but I hear he is doing ok without me LOL

    Nice to see someone giving back, even though I was too late myself.

    500 posts is some doing. Did you do most of them in the last 6 months or were they spread somewhat evenly over the whole time you have been a member since May last year?

      Some days I can be a fairly prolific poster LOL

      I would say they would have been spread more evenly and in fact would have been therefore more by this point in time. As you say, I joined May last year and started posting a little in the beginning but in December of last year (6th) my Mum was taken suddenly ill and she died on the 17th Dec which really did hit me hard and I stopped any kind of work for a good few months, I think I started slowly back online in around March of this year.

      So it would have been more knowing me if I had not had that time off - however, I will say this also, I didn't have a plan of posting or post counts, I just posted when I wanted to ask for advise and later when I thought I could help someone, just because, no other reason, so I wouldn't concern yourself about how long it takes to get to X amounts of posts, just post when you need or want to and add value whenever you can, if you have nothing really of value to add, just use the thanks button, you will find if you don't worry about your post count then it will seem to build faster LOL
