question on landing squeeze page + cb offer

When I look at a clickbank offer..I see that the referal link is sent to the offers sales pitch.

Isnt a landing page a sales pitch too? I don't get it..why would I write a bunch of stuff, just to make them click on a link which sends them to even more writing?

Add that to getting their email and stuff..am I missing something

I think landing page from clickbank is great and high conversion more than create yourself. You can try to email marketing before send them to CB offer.

If money is not a real issue by a cheap domain and redirected at the host or registrar level and it will look nice and clean. You can also use JavaScript code to hide the destination URL, but if you want to be serious about promoting one product or service I would just go with the domain.

So ok, I get a domain, then set the domain to forward to the cb link?

    Not necessarily, no.

A landing page can be whatever you want it to be.

If you're an affiliate for a ClickBank product, you certainly wouldn't want your landing page to be a sales pitch, at all.

You wouldn't. As you rightly surmise, that wouldn't help at all.

    Yes, I think so.

First, this post explains what a "landing page" is.

Secondly, this post explains something relevant to your plan regarding Facebook ads.

Thirdly, this post explains the three starting essentials for being a ClickBank affiliate, and I recommend it as a starting-point, because however you try to to do it, it's very unlikely indeed that you'd manage to make any money worth talking about, as a ClickBank affiliate, without starting off with these three essentials right.

Well alexa, you are quite the rabbit hole of information. I actually remember you helping me a bit last year and the black hole of knowledge put me off so bad I just now returned to try again lol

This time, though, I am understanding a little better..I guess my direct link ideas is basically pure and utter lazyness with a lot of self doubt of being able to retain a loyal following through list building

This time though, I emerged from your writings unscathed and ready to do what I hid from before

Ok maybe i'm a little scathed lol because now I have to actually do this right which means I have to build a list

Which now I don't have the slightest clue how to start

Thanks for the help, I appreciate it

I understand what you mean, from experience it almost depends on the word play and messing with what you know converts, this comes with experience.

      So true QueenMelanie!
Ok Monkmoney, I assume you have a wordpress site in a particular niche?
Where you can make a landing page/squeeze page in combination with an autoresponder

Because through a lot of testing and trial and error this has been found to be the most effective way to build a business; in particular an email marketing business.

I think at first as a Newbie it does seem counterproductive.

But when you put it to practice you find out it is very effective

Quick question, is cpa direct linking
CPA is just affiliate marketing under a different name. You are still promoting an "affiliate" link.

    What are you promoting?

You should always send traffic to your landing page to capture their email address. Keep your landing page short, catchy and to the point. Provide some value if you need to (depends on what you are promoting). Once they enter their email, then they go to the sales page (click bank link). If they don't buy it doesn't matter because you now have their email address to begin to build relationship and market again or other products.

Do you have an autoresponder and landingpage software?

I was just testing facebook ads, I have no website or landing pages yet..I picked a clickbank link..weightloss..and attempted to use advertising with an ad, which linked directly to the referral link..a lot of tries and it never went through just kept saying problem with link

I have some experience with facebook so just wanted to test how their ads work compared to marketing for likes

I realized, probably need landing page, which is why I asked why I need a landing page if the referral link already has a sales pitch

If the seller's sales page is sufficient, then the forwarding link is sufficient. However, there are some who write their own sales copy and, instead of sending the prospect to the sales page, they link directly to the payment link instead of the page. Of course, they only do this if the product is worth it in the first place.

If you are looking at one product, you want to get a domain with that name,

if you are going with selling more than one focused item, and more like a ebay store, then narrow down the stuff you feel you would be passionate to sale, start an authority website with a domain and build that site,

as you are doing this learn to launch and test sqz pages that provide something of value to your leads that would meet there need in the niche products you decide to be an authority on, give them something of value for them to subscribe.

when they go through the very short, informative copy on the squeeze page they are called to action for the value of the benefits of the gift, they subscribe.

at the thank you page, after the optin to the squeeze you have something that says " hey thanks for your interest in xyz, hear is a link to your awesome valuable gift,

on that page, right below that you have a one time offer - to your clickbank sales page, maybe have a couple and embellish the links... or

you could have a timed redirect on the thank you page after the opt in, and instead of a link to the gift, the thank you page says, hey thanks for opting in, your gift is being sent to your mail at this moment, meanwhile check this xyz product out here and the page with an auto redirect gives them enough time to read the message like 10 seconds,

and it will automatically redirect them to the sales page... make sure you get tracking and start easy, and track the vital points only... test and track.. try both ways and see what works.. build your content, and value the people that give you their emails... building the list is tough, keeping it is tougher, but much greater return on you time and money...
    hope that helps
