Looking for a wordpress copying WSO

There was a WSO a while back that allowed a person to copy certain parts of a website to his or her own domain. Can someone tell me the name of the product?

From looking at the demo you could literally copy parts of a site and paste it to your personal domain.

Thanks

    . . . and, I suppose, without the site owner's permission.

Was it called "Stealing on the Fly"?

If it were the owners content I was talking about then yes it would be stealing. However in this case I am talking about the layout of a site.

Wow! That's an interesting request.... Are these kinds of WSO's allowed?

I would agree and disagree as explained below.

Many companies in the automotive world copy one another all the time to a certain extent. Not to mention electronics companies and thousands of others. Have you seen the new Lexus and compared the front of a Hyundai? How about compare a Buick and a Hyundai? This is just one example of thousands I could come up with. You take something build on it and make it better.

Ethics have nothing to do with it. If you make something that works and has success prepare to be duplicated in some form or fashion. As a writer, how many times have you been encouraged to read the American Express sales copy? Did you know there are entire courses built around doing nothing but reading good ad copy? Why? So you can get a sense for what works and what does not. So you see same goes with display advertising and copywriters in general who keep entire files of great copy they can mirror off to write for a client. Some guys even come out and say they borrowed this headline or that one.

This is why I said I may have asked the question in the wrong forum.

I mentioned nothing of stealing anyone's work and using it as my own. That was not my words that was the language used in response to my question. I said you could copy the information from one site to another true but that would not be the final step nor was it in the product demo I remember.

Finally, I agree with you copying IS unethical but that was not the point of this conversation. And this thread is starting to waste too much of my time.

So before all of the devoted followers you guys have show up to pound me to s--t! I bid you a found adieu

What you mean by copying? You can't do that mate. There's so many things wrong with it plus it's not possible. You can find the theme they use but you can't copy everything.

Getting ideas from random sources is cool. Directly copying them is frowned upon and can sometimes lead to legal problems.

I dont think copying the layout of a side is bad considering you see the same layouts a million times over
