Resctrictions On Promoting Your Own WSO Outside Of WF?

Would like to know if there are certain things we cannot do when promoting your own WSO outside of WF. Or are they basically the same rules as promoting any other affiliate product?

    There used to be a rule against linking to WSOs from the main forum posts, but I don't know (or I suspect does anyone else) what the rules are anymore.

    WF gets bombarded with spam and spamers so not much harm you could do.

      I was reading a thread that mentioned not having a link to your WSO if you have a review thread open? However, I don't see a button to close the thread. Would just editing the original post and write "closed" be enough?
