I'm seriously considering finding a biz partner to help expand my online business and just kick around some new ideas. (I live near Detroit - 40 miles north, thank God - if you're interested?) I'm starting to see the logic with the cliche - "two heads are better than one." My question - do the successfull online marketers on this forum work alone or do they have biz partners in which to share ideas? I've had some success online but wonder what steps I need to take to go to the next level. Is a like-minded business partner with similar ambitions the answer? I'm new here but I love this forum. Thanks for any advice offered. |

Business partner? Maybe you just need a mastermind group. Someone you get together with in person or via phone on a regular basis to brainstorm ideas/solutions for your respective businesses. That way you can get the benefit of more than one point-of-view, but don't have the hassles of an actual business partnership. Jay Jennings |

Partnership is nice because this can get to be a lonely way to work. Nice to have someone to lean on too, not always having to do things all by yourself.

yes I like the online mastermind approach here- wish I knew about such things years ago! It would have made things so much better like Jay and the guys say. But would I have an actual partner.? Probably not just because there are so many things can go wrong. Different visions..work ethic etc..

The good thing about having a partner is you have someone with you who can help you with the business, the down side is you have to share the profits and all with your partner, it maybe 70-30% or maybe sometimes 50-50. The good thing of working solo is you can have all the earnings that you earn and you don't have someone to share it with, the bad thing is you are working alone, nobody to talk to. It only depends on both partners on how they deal with each other, and what are their rules. |
