Linking to your website?

I'm a beginner and I just have a couple of stupid questions

Is it ok to link to your website or squeeze page within your post?

Can you draw attention to your signature from within the post? Something like "check my signature to learn more"

Can I sign my post with my website at the bottom? Something like

My Name
Website

If I have a picture and it has my website link in the picture, is that not allowed?

You can have a link to your site in your signature.
There are lots of rules about signatures but I forget most of them as mine has stayed the same for a while. I suggest reading the rules and that should help you.

You can definitely add your website link in your signature, you should check rule of forum before doing it. Regarding squeezing your website link or page in the post depends on the forum rules and the category. Self-promotion is not allowed on most of the forums. You can do blog posts to mention your website or page link in the posts.

I would use the blog as a way to advertise your own business with squeeze pages. I actually change my Signatures often as I want to test and see what is converting best.

You need to select that option in your profile. On the left where it says user CP,, go down and click on signatures and I believe there is where you have to make it so people can see your signature. You also need to make one IF you want to do so.

Yes you can put your site or squeeze page url into your signature. Also,in my opinion don't ask to check someone your signature. They will do it if they need otherwise you can ask them to go to your site url directly. Don't act like fishy or cheap and otherwise you can loose your target.

Don't need to draw attention too it. If you do that in every post you'll just appear scammy!

Keep your web site link in the signature. If you have a specific page on your site that ads value to a discussion thread then put a link to that page in the post. As far as what gets clicked on (what you really care about) my signature gets clicks all the time, so it is a place that works.

First of all your question is not silly!!!..:-). You can link anything but the criteria is that it has to be relevant. If it is not, you are generating a spam link. And every forum sites has some rules about signature, follow it and you're good to go!!

    Generally, no.

Can you draw attention to your signature from within the post? Something like "check my signature to learn more"
    Absolutely not.

Attempted self-promotion will do you more harm then good.
