Does Traffic Exchange Site Work?

I want to know does traffic exchange sites work for clickbank products? If so then please mention some example sites that work.

Is there any sites that allow advertising not by money but point?

My personal Experience with Traffic Exchange sites is this crap traffic. Now if you can get in when its a brand new site, you will make some sales as well as make some leads but overall, I have not had much luck with traffic exchange sites.

Traffic exchanges can be very good for people who are intending to use them to build an opted-in email list of traffic exchange users with the intention of subsequently promoting something targeted specifically at traffic exchange users.

Everyone using traffic exchanges has the same goal -- to get traffic. That can make their users an absolutely ideal, perfectly targeted audience if you're building a list by giving away a free e-book called "3 Ways To Get Traffic That You've Never Heard Of" and then using the list to promote the product you're selling, which is called "And 5 Even More Brilliant Ways To Get Traffic That Nobody Else Has Ever Heard Of Either". Traffic exchanges can be a goldmine for that kind of business.

In all the threads here about TE's, many people comment that they're "useless" and "untargeted traffic". At the same time, some people are making five-figure monthly incomes from that traffic (and I'm not talking about traffic exchange owners!). That's because the first group of people have tried to use traffic exchange traffic for a purpose other than the one stated in the paragraph above. That doesn't work, of course. Typically, they call it "untargeted", not quite having worked out that the problem was that what they were doing wasn't specifically targeted at that traffic.

Like so many other issues in internet marketing, it's all about relevance ("targeting", if you prefer the term).

If you're a violin-seller, there's not much point in setting up a stall in a fish-market and then complaining that the traffic there is "untargeted". Some people instinctively see this straight away. Others, it seems (including many who regularly post disparaging comments here in many "traffic exchange threads") haven't quite worked that out.

They can work if you're using them to build a subscriber-list of people to whom you intend to promote a ClickBank product targeted specifically at traffic exchange users (of course).

The fact that it happens to be a "ClickBank product" has nothing to do with it. What matters is whether the product is well targeted for the traffic. If there's a mismatch between the traffic demographics and the product eventually-to-be-promoted to the subscribers, then how could it possibly work? But this is kind of "Marketing 101", isn't it?

Where do you come up with this bleeding rubbish, if you cant understand something lets trash it

Blogging is a complete waste of time and energy. it works for some people if they put enough effort into it but for most people its a junk idea

SEO stands for search engine optimist, its generally junk traffic that doesn't convert (ask Alexa) it works for people who put enough effort into it but for most people its a complete waste of time.

Article marketing is a dead beat idea which just clutters up the internet with rubbish content, it works for some people if they put enough effort into it, but for most people its just a waste of time.

I could go on and list a load more traffic methods if you want.

Best stick to what you know best, instead of talking out of your rear end

I'm off to take some valium before this thread winds me up

im doing great at my advertisnig pays and paidverts! you should have a custom offering, what that traffic wants through a funnel. get them on your list and same as always provide high quality content.

Im building fat lists and have more than made my money back at both exchanges, plus as time goes by I get more and more advertising.

this is just one traffic source. pick one and go after it.

Traffic exchange sites works for only to boost alexa rank and they eat bandwidth to waste your money. My suggestion is to get real traffic from people that are interested in your products.

Alexa Smith handled this pretty well. Traffic exchanges have their place is what I have discovered.

They do have to be handled the right way, as Alexa referenced, and there is nothing wrong with including them in a consistent marketing strategy.

Something I have recently been advised to do, and will start trying, is simply calling the people that I get emails from on traffic exchanges. I have no problem working the phone and hearing rejection, since I know that rejection is part of the business.

These people know something about internet marketing and how it works. That part of the equation is already solved. Many people turn away immediately from something they don't understand.

I will start soon calling those people as well as the other lists that I have.

There is always more than one way to approach traffic and the people that make up that traffic. Actually contacting people is what needs to happen as often as possible.

They are very easy to trick with certain types of software. You can easily be trading REAL traffic for FAKE traffic. Not good.

Instead of exchanges, generate your own FREE traffic. There are so many ways. The only limit is your imagination and motivation level.
