First of all take it easy bro,

The comments will come if someone is interested in your post

      Now to answer your question:

Most people are confident but they lack direction. It is like a dream but if you don't know how to fulfill that dream you will get no where. So it is not only about knowing that you will win but also having a blueprint to success so that you are 100% confident you will achieve your goal.

My opinion is: work hard, work hard and work hard! It's not going to happen overnight, you got to put in the works, money, determination and all things to make it a success.

Yes, I plan on winning. It just takes time, determination, and DIRECTION. Most newbies biggest problem when they start doing IM is information overload, myself included.

Well, for me. I need someone to lookup to. Someone who has walked the path and that I can model after. I am not that hard working though but I am someone who will put into action what I have learned although it may too more time than others.

However, people like me need someone to pace them. It's like running. I hate running alone. But if I have someone to run alongside me, that gives me encouragement seeing that person being successful and knowing that if I model after what he or she is doing, I have a higher chance at success...

Well what you need to start with is a positive attitude. You need to picture yourself being rich. Feel rich. (Doesn't mean bein an idiot and blowing money thinking you got the moeny). But the more you feel this, the more confident you get. The ideas start comin to you, and you find the way to make the money and be that rich self you had in your dream. ......Remember, if you can't dream it, you can't reach it. Must dream big to achieve big!

I feel like there's no ifs about it. I feel essentially that I have decided what my fate is, and now I'm just enacting the steps I need to take in order to see my path unfold as I intend it to.

There's a line out of the Matrix from Morpheus that sums it up for me, to the effect of, "I do not believe it to be a matter of faith, I believe it to be a matter of time."

I feel like I already now how the "story" of my life goes - I'm just reading through it and experiencing it.

You might want to check that line of thinking....
Sounds like the depression era negative way of thinking in terms of lack, rather than abundance.
My grandparents and parents generation were always taught to think it terms of lack and that anyone who had money must have been doing something dishonest or stepping on some 'little guy' to get where they are.
You don't have to be dishonest to make a LOT of money.
The world is full of BILLIONS of dollars, that's a fact.
Why should only 5% of the world have that wealth?

YOU can too and you can have it honestly!

Depends on your view of being rich I guess. A lot of people would say that with a million dollars you're rich.

I will do everything I can (and things I can't) to get to the point where I can say about myself "now I'm rich". But I think, when that day arrives, I won't think of it like that anymore.

I know I will attain financial abundance and, while IM is a key in that, it is not the sole method.

Yesterday, I had a big kick up the backside, after realizing that I have been on the wrong side of the cause / effect equation for the last few months.

My natural personality is to be brash, slightly obnoxious and argumentative, combined with devotion, compassion and understanding. For a long time, I have been thinking that I need to be financially independent to allow myself to be myself in full.

Because, when no one owns you, you can do and be whoever the hell you want to be to the rest of the world.

Obviously, this exposes some of my own hangups, but that isn't the point.

I ran a contracting business last year which, due to really REALLY bad accounting on my behalf, has left the company in debt.

I'm an outstanding coach, licensed hypnotherapist, great writer... I love public speaking and I love helping people.

The stupid bit is that, to escape the debt and live in financial abundance, I have to let go, to do and be all the things I've been telling myself I can't be until I am rich!

So, yes, I believe, but be on the right side of the cause and effect.

Wrong side: I can be myself in full when I am rich and free of debt

Right side: When I be myself in full, I will become financially free

And to echo the previous Matrix quote, in response to"How many of you do REALLY believe they're getting rich this way?"

Lock: "Not everyone believes what you believe"

Morpheus: "My belief's don't require them to"

      To all your business success!

      T

Feeling that you are rich is a relative thing:

I believe that you need to have a marketing mindset, a positive attitude, work hard and continue to focus.

I don't believe you can chase the money. You need to have passion, then take action.

My brightest moments have come when I am true to myself. That's when I have felt rich.

If you feel grateful for where you are, grateful for where you've been and grateful for where you are going: you already live in infinite abundance. You are rich.

I believe that success is possible, but there are few guidelines that are needed:

    1. Write down your goals/dreams (in detail)
    2. Put together a plan that will enable you to reach your goals
    3. Take your first steps
    4. take persistent, focused action

    Also:

Keep you goals in mind at all times, especially as you complete your daily tasks

Be prepared for failure. It is an unavoidable stepping-stone to success

learn to take risks and make quick decisions...

Remember to review your plan/processes regularly and

    1. automate/simplify where possible
    2. Outsource tasks can be done by others
    3. Leverage your efforts...John D. Rockefeller: "I would rather earn 1% off 100 people's efforts than 100% of my own efforts".."

    Hope that helps

Rich, is the value you put on it. As others are saying here. Success is relevant to you goals.

I remember that in my youth, I had coaches that taught mental success and rich values. I dreamed of breaking records and winning gold. I won gold and I broke records, but I learned that their will always be someone to replace my dreams. To challenge my success and my Riches.

Are you Rich? Are you a Success? depends on your own goals and dreams.

Some of my friends are independently wealthy and feel worthless, having goals they can never satisfy.

Some of my friends have little financially, but are the wealthiest people I know. Happy and wouldn't trade their lives with my other friends.

As for being a Goober.... "Hell Yah" and seeing my dreams through the eyes of my goals and having a blast.

To your own Wealth, be thy own.

        Absolutely!

Freedom, Health, Happiness is what it is all about.

There are many wealthy people, including IM'ers, who are none of these because making money is an obsession - even when they already have all they could ever need for the rest of their life.

When you are truly Free, and helping others to become Free, we are never short of all that really matters to us in Life.

IM can provide all of that, but must be kept in a proper perspective.

Do you think you will be rich? Do you think that you have what it takes? Do you believe that you have the winning difference?

Do you maybe believe somewhere deep inside of you that you can do it but this is not the right path? Like, you know you should do something different "when the time's right" (enough money, enough time, kids out of the house, enough skills, etc.) but right now you "have to" keep doing what you're doing? There is a difference between people who think they can or cannot do it and people who believe in themselves but are in the wrong position right now.

My take on this? Yes, I'm going to win. Big time. That sums my opinion on this topic up.

    Your turn...
You can only become as rich as you believe you can - no more - no less.

It is impossible to succeed at IM, as in Life generally, unless you believe and know, beyond doubt you will.

So know only absolute success, and never restrict your thinking.

When I was 20 or so I told my parents that I was going to start a business.

They thought I meant something like a corner store or something local, but when I told them I meant the first ever national computer software compny they did not believe it was possible.I achieved it within a couple of years or so.

You have to think big to be big.

I believe that if you have enough training and you understand what you need to do to succeed and HOW to do it, it comes down to whether or not you're willing to put the time in. You have to treat it like a full time job (plus overtime). Draw up a game plan and put in your 8-12 hours a day and there is no doubt you will succeed. That is what I'm striving for.

I agree with this! Right now my income has leveled off because I am more focused on enjoying myself than on increasing my savings. I am as rich as I want to be or need to be. The freedom that that buys is a wonderful thing.

Someone asked me what I wanted for my next birthday and I couldn't think of a single material thing I really want.

Freedom, Health, Happiness is what it is all about.
    Yes to that, too!
