      Yes, I'm just an old welder and that's all I've ever been. I've bought a couple of training courses but I still need help. If I had someone right there with me I could ask questions and get answers immediately.

    There is more than enough things to find on the web for free and even paid to help you. But I do know that some people do need some help, and so personal coaching may be needed for them. I don't know how you could find somebody in your area specifically though

    There almost surely are, but why does it have to be in person?
    Good coaching isn't cheap, and in-person coaching will probably be much more.
    Normally, coaching is carried out via Skype and email.
    Unless you have a specific reason why it has to be in person, you may be limiting the quality of coaching you receive, by restricting it to one area.

      I wasn't aware it would be so expensive. I know there's people out there that out source but I'm nowhere near there yet. I'm not afraid of work, I work 10 hours a day and 6 hours on Saturday and I'm still on the computer 3 or 4 hours a day and even more on the weekends trying to learn this. I have taught numerous people how to weld and I can tell them how all day long but the only way their going to learn is by doing it. I recon I just need to start doing it.

    I can see that being a nightmare scenario for any coach.

    I could see the local news headlines saying that a disgruntle student was arrested for ramming in his coaches front door because he tried calling but his coach wouldn't answer
    (truth be told the coach was a church with his family).

    You still need a plan.

    Build a simple sales funnel and drive some traffic. It's not hard.

    Start small and learn as you go.

    i think you can get a decent coach being coahed by video and ask questions when you can. i think it is doable for 200 dollars if you find the right coach.

        A valid point. I made $30 today and I would be an absolutely dreadful coach. I imagine I'd spend most of my time trying to make welding puns. Weldun. Wel-der you go. If you have difficulties, you must solder on.


        Bukit - you say you've bought a few training courses but you still have questions...could you be more specific? What have you picked up from those training courses?

          I had this same thought early in my journey online...

          I can tell you that you should stop looking for technical know how and work on your mental mindset and personal development with money.

          Robert Kiyosaki Rich dad poor dad helped me and his other books also listening to audio everyday on making money and reading daily has helped me tremendously.

          There is no sequence of buttons that people do to make money online that just can be taught.

          There is no method that people can really teach because what works for one may not work for others.

          Just get started taking action...

          Buy a course and stick with that one course or in that same niche.

          Keep going until you have success.

          Also another book that helped me is the "The Slight Edge"

    Hi Bukit, I can relate to what you are saying; I am 55 years old and was a mechanical fitter by trade working for the MOD. All my working life has been working with mechanical stuff and training others. I am definately a late starter with I.M. and have found it very tough until I found a good mentor to work with. I wouldn't say he was expensive, but all the training up to now has been via support ticket/ video and email. this help got me moving and helped my earn my first sales online. I am still learning and have a stack of training to work through at my pace, but can ask question at any time.
    I never new what question to ask before as I didn't have enough knowledge about the subject.

    Also, I agree with what others have said. You don't necessarily need a local coach, because it's possible for someone to show you everything that you need to know through Skype.
