Newbie Ideas Help

Greetings.. Just the standard Newbie thread here

It seems i have everything going for me however i lack ideas..
I have time, money and i'm very computer literate.

I only work 3 days a week and i still live at home with my parents so i have lots of time.

My passion is holidays and travelling as it's something i do often, however all the good domain names have been taken. I spent a few hours last night playing around with godaddy, but nothing got me excited.. I can't have

HotelsUK.com

etc etc




Random brainstorming idea..

How about purchasing a domain name of a well known classic movie that's going to be popular for many years to come, maybe... "superman". add "bluray" on the end of that and buy that domain name, to sell amazon or other affiliate blurays??

I would not make a huge website dedicated to "superman" just a page. Would the good domain name be enough to get it high on google rankings,

    The Travel Niche is a huge Niche. Lots of Money to be made and very competitive. But if you are passionate about it then you should go for it.

    Look to narrowing it down. Maybe to specific area like Cruise Travels or Scottish isles destinations, Italian destinations etc..etc..

    This is a complete NO NO. You will potentially get people coming after you for Trademark and Copyright infringement

    A domain name is good to rank high if its an aged domain. Aged domains are more trusted by Google and have authority so I recommend doing some more keyword research and narrow down your niche to a low competition long tail keyword.

    Follow your passion. Good domain names abound.

    I just found "bloggingfromparadise" a few months back. Who'd have thought it'd be available?

    Run with a tight travel niche, something related to an aspect of travel you love.

    Go from there.

    Also, get serious about working on your mindset so you can tune into tons of prospering ideas. It's fun. I promise

    Domain name is nothing. What does mean by godaddy.com? Well, it is not the domain that make money ( there is always some exceptions like fb.com ), it is what you do can make money.

    So, do not waste a lot of time to find a domain, make it quick, start working on the website and it will make you some money.

    Oh, yea, as someone already told you, narrow your target, pick a city to get some result with travel industry first that just targeting the whole country. Believe be it is the most valuable suggestion you are getting here.

    Great question actually. I recommend researching what is the most searched keyword in your niche and "try" to add the keyword into your domain name if possible but always try to be creative. The domain name is important so take your time! No rush, success comes always as long as you move forward.
