Default Aweber question re Inserting images

I just started my first e-mail campaign and am glad to find Aweber much easier to use than I expected!

One thing i was dissapointed in:
It seems I can't 'paste' pictures in.
(I wrote my e-mails out in MS Word and then hoped to just cut n' paste the lot)
Seems pretty obvious though, that the pictures wouldn't be included, my question then is, how do you include pictures amongst the text (embedded).

Thanks

Default Re: Aweber question re Inserting images

You would have to send your emails out as html and the upload the images to your server. Then you would use html to include their absolute url.

Write your messages in the html box instead of the plain text box. Their is a button at the top of the box that lets you insert images from a web location. The only disadvantage is that the html messages seem to get blocked by spam filters a lot.

Also, put a version of the message in the plain text box, too, for people who don't receive html email.
